Just use the 'MEGA + VPN combo'. Download what you can, close MEGA, VPN to somewhere else. Reopen MEGA and continue until it's done. Nice and easy.

I'm not talking about the website. I'm talking about the Desktop App. You have to use it for bigger downloads unless you're on Chrome.

So for that, yes you have to close it and reopen it. Or otherwise it won't realise that your IP has changed when you swap with a VPN.
