No, it won't go to 1.0 after 0.9, it'll go to 0.10, 0.11, 0.12, etc. Then, when Cari is ready to put out the final, it'll switch to 1.0 (at least, that's the convention being frequently used).
I don't think that would make sense for Eternum. He basically upgraded what were "side girls" in OiaL to full LIs, so Nova, Luna etc. are all equal to Penny and Dalia which would be the equivalent to Judie and Lauren in OiaL. The "Others" really are just means to remind the player, that it is a Porn VN while Cari was still building up to full scenes with the LIs. I was thinking more along the lines of Calypso sitting down at the Carter household's dining table and munching on Dalia's food while Orion looks at her white as a sheet.
