Wish I could give this more than 5 stars. Caribdis once again blows us away with their storytelling ability, animations, musical choice, and the ability to intertwine it all together into a story worth playing with great characters that develop throughout the story. It sets a new standard for visual novels that I hope many developers can reach.

When it comes to f95zone after some time you think you have seen everything. Majority of games have hot chicks but they use generic_coffee_cup_model or city_night wallpapers to create the environment.
The game itself began as any other game. The MC is lame 18-something who is after hot girls, like in every 683 games in this forum. Everyone are constantly talking of this new fantastic game called "Eternum", there are even some people larping this game inside the game. My boomer instinct go like "yeah, I have seen this shit before".
Then you log in and... it blows your mind. Amount of details Eternum has rivals with FF7 remake quality. Nothing is generic, everything has been designed by devs. You first connect in to cyberpunk world, and that world is better than Cyberpunk2077. I don't know what shit devs have been smoking, and don't stop it because my mind can't comprehend the creativity they have.
Eternum is simply amazing, just play the "meh"-part trough and you will love it. Personally I am happy that Eternum does not exists, because I would waste my whole life at there being completely addicted to it.

So what about saving time? Well yeah, like in previous game, once in a lifetime, the main issue is game cockblocking you. Like in that game, same same design flaw has been carried to this game: in every multioption answer with girls you have to go back and try again if you did not get the lovescore. If you lack lovescores, the game will blueball you permanently and you will miss all the scenes with that girl/s. Also, when you have option to explore or stay still, always pick the curious-heroic-friendly option as it will expand the game, otherwise you will miss major scenes.

This being said, just play it anon and get hooked. Once in a lifetime was one of the best games in this forum, and this game will be even better.

I was already very happy with Once in a Lifetime and more than satisfied, even if I unfortunately (personal stupidity) needed several attempts...

But Eternum more than blew me away!!!

If this work of art continues as this "intro" already offers a foretaste, then I don't know how the final version could be rated by me someday....
Except for the typical MC, who doesn't perceive anything of his surroundings due to the exaggerated horniness and drooling thoughts (this is probably due to my somewhat *cough* higher age) absolutely everything else has more than thrilled me.

Presentation, music, humor, graphics, all these points fulfill every wish of mine so far.
It's just a mystery to me how Caribdis can realize all this with HS2? All other HS2 based VN look so "different"...?

I wish Caribdis good luck, success and many more good ideas with his vision

In short: I simply double my previous statements! From everything even more, even better than the prologue!
Suspense, fun, eroticism, graphics & appearance, sound & music, development of the story, just everything is great!
As much as I usually get upset as a critic and want to grumble about every little thing -> Here even I have nothing to report ;-)

Starting Eternum after finishing Once in a Lifetime is like reuniting with a great old friend; he's now older, more mature, better looking but his heart is still the same. My one regret is I now have to anxiously wait for the next update.
Also I'd like to believe that after finishing his terms, former president Michael Stabb is now finally back to hunting for the treasure of Henry Avery.

WOW! Really great work with this game, Absolutely top tier storytelling and graphics.
It's a story driven, click and choose game, with good steamy scenes, the developer has put an insane amount of work in this and it shows, its very polished.

Agreed on what's been said here, the game has an awful lot of content for a first release, made me scared, made me laugh, made me horny, all in the first release, what more can you ask from a Visual Novel?

I enjoyed this thoroughly. Great humor, renders, and writing. Quite immersive, which is hard to do in these games. Can't wait for updates!

Characters, renders, scene animations, immersion, world-building... what more could you want? This VN has a virtual reality MMORPG feel and hooks you in every way. Never a dull moment. Humor is sprinkled throughout and often unexpected - the best kind. Stop reading reviews and play already!

Can say only good things about it. Hard to believe this is only a 0.1 release. There is more quality content than some games have in their 0.5 releases.

I was a fan of Once in a Lifetime, and this seems improved in every way. It looks stunning, the writing is witty and engaging and I'm really glad that the story is not there just to link the sex scenes, it's actually building a really cool setting. And you're not just thrown into some heavy sci-fi world, you actually get a blend of the 'real world' together with the Eternum - which seems like a great choice in my mind. Makes the Eternum scenes feel more special and there's always a build up to them. I think the developer's experience really shows here in storytelling and the way this game teases you into a next scene. Can't wait for the 0.2.

For Eternum [v0.1]

Man, this was a really strong first showing of Caribdis' second game.
I was a honestly a bit skeptical when I saw the massive amounts of 5star ratings on a 0.1 release but after having played it I couldn't help adding my voice the the choir. It is obviously just the start and we'll have to see how things progress from here but so far this is looking really promising.

As someone who liked his previous game (Once in a Lifetime), just about everything seems to have been improved this time around. Renders look crisper, dialogue has a better flow to it and the jokes (which I personally thought could be pretty hit or miss in the last game) all seemed to land really well.

It's cool to see Caribdis growing as a dev and trying something a bit different. Best of luck to him and this looks like something that could be well worth supporting if you are able to.

TLDR: If you liked Once in a Lifetime you'll also like Eternum. If you never tried it, go do it while waiting for updates here!

It took me a hell of a time to give Once in a Lifetime a chance because I thought it was kinda ugly (sorry) but when I finally did I just fell in love with the characters, the story, the romance and ofc the humor. It just clicked with me right away.
Eternum is everything I loved about OiaL but now being extremely beautiful to look at too! Honestly I'm always biased against Honey Select 2 because very few devs managed to create good looking girls with it. Well Caribdis did it somehow. This is the best looking HS2 game I've ever seen in this website. If this kind of overall quality continues I can only see success in this dev future lol.

First of all, I am a backer. Having been positively blown away by the first game (Once in a Lifetime), I knew that this game would be something special. He did not disappoint. I recommend this game to anyone. The story and humor Caribdis brings to his games will leave you literally ROFL, as well as invested in each and every character. This is not just an adult game. This is an adult MASTERPIECE game. All the other devs on this site should sit up and take notes on how to do it. You find yourself caring about all the characters and feeling like you can't wait for the next update to see what happens next.

Caribdis's big break with their first game, Once In A Lifetime, was well-deserved, though it had many of the hangups that hold independent adult games back. Their follow-up Eternum promises to overcome the limitations of its contemporaries with the return of its entertaining and often-hilarious writing style, as well as souped-up renders and frequent animations. Fans of similar 3D games should take notice and enjoy as this rolls out.

Not sure if it means anything; but I'll preface by saying I'm a backer, and have been for quite some time.

When I heard that OiALT was ending; ngl I had mixed emotions; the story was great and there's never any guarantee that the next game could match the legacy of the previous.

Well, by the same rule, I also found out it means you'd never know if the next game would exceed expectations by a ridiculous amount. And that's what Eternum basically is.

I have no clue how Cari got all these amazing assets for the game, but as someone who has played most of the other HS and HS2 games here, a lot of them take me by surprise. Not sure what rendering or lighting effects is done here too; but if you straight up told me this was made with HS3 I'd believe you.

Writing is great; and as of .01 the story looks like it is still ramping up. Having played OiALT I know the lewd scenes are gonna be worth however long we have to wait (If that's your main draw).

Lastly, If you're looking for just sex , tbh I'd want to still recommend you play this because even though there's very few scenes so far in the game, I think you'll be surprised how quickly your priorities change.

You know this game is going to be the best game on the site when the 0.1 version shits on the top games and even makes the previous amazing game from Caribdis look bad in comparison. I'll probably go for an annual pledge on patreon because I'm sure the the quality can only go higher judging from this update and the previous game.

I love the characters, the humour, the graphics, the scenery, the music, the sound effects, the easter eggs, the story and most of all I love those moments where you get chills from story revelations or catch those hidden lore drops that will be important in the future. There's so much potential here with the real and virtual world and this isn't just a porn game... We are in for a ride.

0.2 edit: It was even better than expected, 6/5, best game on this whole site on a 0.2 version, I can't imagine what future updates will bring, I just have no words man...

0.3 edit: The quality somehow keeps getting better, I just can't understand how this is possible. That cliffhanger is just not fair man...

This is by far the best lewd game i have ever played, and i haven't even gotten to a sex scene. It's just this well made, the characters, the world, the story, everything is so well made. There are a lot of assets i have never seen in any other game, pretty sure this is handmade. All the girls look very good and not unrealistic, except for maybe one on purpose, gotta get those gains.
All in All i can't wait to see where this is going.... please not in the ntr, pregnancy, feet, etc direction these are not for everyone.

This cannot be a v0.1. The details, the story and the depth are just out of this world. While there are a lot of people that doesn't like HS the girls are really great, and while the MC is a little so-so at the moment, knowing Caribdis he will make us grow fond of finishing his story.

Knowing that the dev said that this game was going to be a lot better than his previous work. With this release he has just shown everyone he has a lot of respect for putting with word to reality

As many others already said, this is probably the best V0.1 that has ever been released on this site. The amount of detail and skill that was put into this game has been amazing.

To see the devs growth from the first versions of "Once in a lifetime" to releasing the first Version of Eternum has been breathtaking.

There are also small references to Oinl (President stabb, sons of a-) which is amazing.

Great Writing, hot characters and an intriguing storyline! Eternum pretty much has it all. From the very beginning, the story draws you in with its humorous dialouges. This isn't 'just' a porn-VN, it's a real story that keeps you wanting more! Congrats to the author =)

The first release got so much content inside.

PROS:

- Beautiful Art, better than OIALT, and animation is still great!
- Good sense of humor, it's pretty funny.
- Interesting story and plot.
- Girls look beautiful (Luna's mine :3).
- Very good music.

CONS:

- I can't see anything or I'm blind .

Easy 5 stars for me. 100/10
