If I rename, I use "Dave". I've gotten to where I only rename if the character has a particularly cultural or ethnic name. I have a hard time feeling a connection to "Shunji" or "Nika" . I renamed Orion to Dave, didn't get very far into the game, and went back and started over with Orion; it just seemed to fit.

I'm pretty sure that as long as we believe in the Seven Goddesses, we're invited to each of them' place of worship, no matter which one we may slightly prefer. Whether it is Nova's Church, Nancy's Temple or Luna's Necropolis (or Mausoleum ? but then a big one with a lot of undeads playing dead and waiting to jump on the visitors for fun ).

Does the game have NTR, Cuckold, Sandbox or point & click, or is it a game where we progress by making choices?

It doesn't have any of those things and yes, you progress by making the right choices.
