The thing is that how much you like character models is entirely subjective. I wont argue that creating characters in Daz will most likely be more time consuming and require more effort than creating them in HS/HS2. But more effort does not really mean that it is better and it certainly does not mean that others will like it more. E.g. I dont really like games done with Daz and I dont like the models.It's an HS game, so if competing in an "open" category with Daz and Blender games included should not have placed 2nd over games like Westview Academy, Chasing Sunsets and Midnight Paradise from an objective standpoint.
And while it is obvious that HS/HS2-artists also spend their time to make the characters unique, I want to say that the thing what I really like about Eternum is that side characters are also pretty fleshes out when it comes to their appearance. A good example would be the two people who competed with Nova and the MC at the University Party. They were far from standard looking characters which are often used.
