As of now we don't know how much useful the polyjuice will be in the future however the walktrough says we have to buy it.

To gain or save money, you should do the following:
-Refuse to buy a pet one time from Chop-Chop in the Red Herring server, you'll get a discount that way
-Steal money from Maat
-Don't buy the ticket during your time in the Semper Invicta server, it's a scam but buy the apple, Orion needs to stay healthy (though that doesn't matter much now )
-You can gain the most money during the heist while playing slots, the maximum you can attain here is 1900 eternals so just save your game each time you win and reload each time you lose.
-Don't give money to Vasil for his egg in Andromeda
-You can have some money from Sister Baek during the detective part with Nova and Annie. Be sure to select "I want more" when talking with her outside the house, you'll get the most money that way
-Beat Dalia at "Rock-Paper-Scissors" in the Wild West server.
-Don't bribe Aspen during the photoshoot, just be tough with her (and Penny likes it)

Not sure how I didn't have enough money for the polyjuice potion. I did almost everything available to get money. Maybe it was not playing enough at the slots in the casino. I got so bored doing that.

But I don't think it's a vital component for achieving any goals. The walkthrough may recommend buying it but not everything in the walkthrough is required. It says these choices are for harem "with all possible optional scenes". It's very unlikely the polyjuice potion does more than get an optional scene. For harem all you need is to be nice to the girls and select every option which allows spending time with them.

And Wenlin and Chop-Chop promised they'd keep some for me for when I can afford it, which implies there will be another chance.

I know when I played the latest chapter (much later than most – I wait for public release, and then life got in the way) I wrote a long message about it and seems I did not post it. From what immediately comes to mind (it's been a while now and a lot of life and other fiction has happened):

• I was disappointed there wasn't more to the pirate server.
• The sex was hot, as expected, but failed to top Alex's scene.
• I'm also a little disappointed that all the girls so far seem into rough sex. Not that I don't love it. But given their different personalities I'd hoped for more variety in their sexual interest. I know you could choose different options for Penny (after the college party) and for Annie during her blowjob. In both cases I chose rough because it suits Penny, and I love the idea of Annie being the cutest most adorable sweetest girl ever and her liking it rough, and because I fully expected that Nova and Luna would naturally be the ones who liked it softer and more romantic. Oh well…
• I liked the progression of the story, and the revelation that as some had suspected Eternum isn't a virtual reality game at all.

Edit: I chose the Vampire path because the bit between Penny and the wacky vampire woman was irresistable.

Yea it is amazing and I am glad to be here for the ride. Hard to not look forward to every single update with this one, it will always jump right to the top of the back log when the updates drop

I thought Luna's scenes were super intimate and gentle for the most part. She's got to be handled kinda like glass because she's not used to being touched. Her scene in the attic specifically seemed like she and Orion are completely fascinated by each other. He lifts her up once or twice but Luna kinda sets the pace throughout and keeps it slow.

Also, unrelated, I checked the scene back and I adore these moments.

. Assuming this is true and that the average of 2 updates a year holds, we still have about 2-3 years before this gets completed. And considering that he mentioned on Discord that he has the entire plot outlined from start to finish (with the only things not outlined are the LI events and the jokes because it gives him a little bit of creative legroom without throwing a hatchet to the plot), I doubt he would consider abandoning this unless some major IRL stuff comes up (/knocks on wood).

It was basically already confirmed that event will resume and that we have not seen everything there is to the pirate server.
The majority of images from the first set of sneak peeks are likely from the pirate server. So fret not, it will continue.

Yes, you are correct. I misremembered this. There are a couple of lines from Orion that skewed my perception of it a little:

• he thinks how the innocent looking girls are the freakiest in bed (when nothing freaky is happening at the time)
• he says to her "Look at me while you choke on my cock"

But your perception is more accurate than my memory. It is overall a sweet (and very sexy) scene.

Yeah, that is one of the few "fears" I have with the game as well. Cari should put more emphasis on the girls feelings different during the scenes. Not all of them should be into rough and hard sex and end up behaving the same, that would be boring and would kinda beat the point of even having 7 (8) different LIs.
