So how long do you think MC is going to be dead before he comes back for whatever reason and starts banging girls again?

My current theory is probably until after the New World event (he'll wake up from the morgue and escape from there or the people working there see him coming back and they either freak out or they rationalize it as him having a heartbeat so weak that they thought he was dead).

*"and give them a massive heart attack" You forgot to add that little bit there Dorf...;) :KEK:
Yeah, but considering this is Cari he'll prolly play it for comedic purposes to soften the morbidity of the situation (assuming he goes for this route and not any of the other routes that would lead to Orion surviving), which is why I omitted it.

Well if they die through that Heart Attack at least they will already be in the correct place for it. That's Comedic enough right? :Kappa::KEK:

Finally someone that understands my point. They can do away with some sex scenes and still keep the soul intact. After all I feel Eternum is much more than a fapping game and can have a movie on its own
It doesn't make sense.
There are two movies like Eternum, and Eternum isn't the only game that happened first, because part of Eternum's story is taken from the movie, similar to "Ready Player One", and there is also another film about sci-fi "Elysium".

there are also a couple of other films that Cari could have taken ideas for his game.

This already exists. It’s called Ready Player One.

Personally I think he will die irl, but will live on Eternum's world, due his compability. But I guess not everyone agrees on that.
You realize if Orion is trapped in Eternum then his life's going to be a living hell considering he'll be constantly hunted by Thanatos for possessing 3 gems, yes?

"Well he could just pass it to the girls." Yes...and that would lead to Thanny likely taking Orion captive and imprisoning him somewhere. And if the theory of him working with William is true, then they could also work together to find a countermeasure against Caly and the girls when they come up to rescue him, ultimately making them lose the gems in the process.

Seriously, going that route is just going to be a headache and it would lead to a loss of possible downtime or slice-of-life moments with the girls (not to mention change the story into a more serious tone). I mean, Cari can be serious with his writing, but not THAT serious.

Yes I do, and he already has way more powers than he did at first encounter.

Let's be frank, at some point he will have to do it. But at the same time, Eternum is immense, it isn't like Thanatos will guess right away where Orion is and vice-versa. I don't expect that to happen on the entire update, but that's my guess on start. At least that will give some hints about Idriel, after all, while not directly implied, I still think that only Orion and no one else engaged with Idriel.

That's assuming Thanatos wasn't holding back. And considering he actually has Hyas and didn't use that in his first fight with Orion, I'm of the opinion that he actually was.

Also, yes, Thanatos won't guess right away. But Orion staying in Eternum will make the process of him being found quicker than when he's jumping in-and-out of Eternum (moreso if it turns out that William is feeding him info and has eyes everywhere). And this is even with Caly possibly helping him jump around.

Not to mention there's the unexplored danger of what happens when an already dead person is already killed AGAIN in Eternum. Does the person respawn, or do they stay dead for a long while before they get revived, or do they cease to exist? That's just too big of an unknown that I think Orion wouldn't want to find out (and again, would make the story's tone a lot more serious than necessary).

Sure I understand that, but the story can't always be a "comfort" one. imo this event can be a turning point of actual seriousness of the story. You know, a bit like Naruto Shippuden or One Piece after timeskip. And as you said, Thanatos won't guess it right away. He can go full Kirito mode, and while being strong, being completly oblivious, dumb and without any kind of actual character development.

I really doubt William is feeding him as you mentioned, but there isn't anything that says the opposite as well. That's just theory.

You can have seriousness in the story without having to needlessly ramp it up or change the way it's being told. Again, having Orion stay in Eternum will eliminate the chill atmosphere of the slice-of-life moments if the girls and Orion feel that there's a sword of Damocles hanging above their heads. Plus the girls will have to contend with the consequences of having Orion gone in the real. The authorities will likely have to get involved, which will bring an unneeded element into the mix. And most importantly, Annie and Luna won't be able to get pregnant unless Cari revises how projections work.

Again, too many variables to consider when Cari could simply have Orion revive or be saved through other means and give some sort of hard consequence to that, thus allowing Cari to maintain his freedom to do the chill moments while escalating things a bit so that Orion will start to change into the hero the dead wants him to be (and the man that the girls rightfully deserve).
