If they've respect for the dev they don't and let him make some money for his work and wait for public release. But yeah, respect on a pirate site... not gonna happen.

First - you are right that it's pirate site and there is nothing to be done with it. Human sosiety
Second - people will still support it, because now most realise that you're not paying for the build itself, but for the work the developers/team do. And it's obvious that someone can't pay $100 a month. Even $10 a month is a lot for someone. But that doesn't mean they stop supporting developers, even when their level privileges don't work properly.

Exactly,I hate free roams too.Even got turned off the first time coz of it.Even BAD has a lot of free roams someone should make a mod without these annoying free roams

I personally told Caribdis once that the freeroam scary manor in OIALT was my favorite section... I still stand by that.

Then again, I like to actually take a lot of time to play the game. Impatience is a perfectly valid playstyle... That being said, these freeroam segments do add some amount of magic to the game. It'd be boring to me if it was just another on rails VN all the time.
For the people who prefer on rails, I respect you and can wish you the best in your gaming endeavors!

I totally agree, the hospital part was one of the best ones in OIALT, at least for me.
