I mean technically Nancy had to sit out two updates, right? So it actually would bring her back in line with some of the other LIs...except Luna of course...

I don't think that how long has the time passed is near as significant as you think it is. Those mini time skips, where more for just skip some of Orion evolution, Yeah he was away for a week or 2, but still played Eternum, so he is no longer a noob, or level 6 or something.The thing is there's nothing else that's teased to happen in the next update other than that and we're already in December. And I'm not sure Cari would be keen in making a 2nd update in a row where time hasn't advanced significantly, especially when he mentioned on Discord that Orion, Annie, and Chang were going to stay in Kredon for the whole school year and we tentatively have about 5 updates left until the story ends.
My personal guess is that Christmas event could happen as the finale for 0.9, while Caly trip could be like the New World event in this patch where we spend a huge chunk of it getting to know knife-ear culture and possibly getting some much-needed infodumps about stuff like the gems or Orion's powers or how Caly got imprisoned. Luna event could happen somewhere in the middle, possibly an event where Orion drags her in Eternum for something. Christmas tho could definitely open up a lot of scenes like Dalia x Annie, Annie x Nan, and/or Penny solo, so it's definitely something that Cari ought to consider.
Edit: Also just for the lulz it's possible that Caly event ends with Orion and Caly trying to get back to Eternum...but our horndog of an MC will overshoot and both will end up in Kredon instead.
And we definitely need some quality Time with Calypso it would be a waste of potential to not Fuck the Elf Princess in her Royal palace

But if Cari wants an xmas episode he should do it in episode 10, and release it in 2025 December, during holiday season. Unlike some other developer , who gonna release an xmas themed episode in spring . . .

Yeah well if a ski trip happens a Nan x Annie scene is more likely going to happen since Carter on Carter scenes are unfortunately off the table (and Dalia x Annie might be a little too soon since Dal is a bit clueless about the harem that's currently taking shape with her mom as its self-appointed facilitator).That was Nova though...

Episode 10 for Christmas 2025 is unlikely since Episode 9 will likely land on August-September. Also as I said Carter trip could serve as a way for Nan to bring Annie to the harem fold and also give some scenes with Penny in the trip provided that we don't end up going to Meiyo during the update.I don't think that how long has the time passed is near as significant as you think it is. It feels like the disagreement here is over whether you and your clone are actually the same person.Do they cuck themselves as well if they watch a previous recording of themselves fucking the LIs? Asking for science.

To some, watching your clone do something is no different than watching a video of yourself. You are merely witnessing your own actions.
To others, the simultaneous nature of your clone (they exist and act at the same time you do, unlike a video of yourself), as well is any possible agency on the clones part, make them a different being. They are a replica of you, but not you.
I fall into the second camp but depending on the specifics I can see the logic behind the first as well.

yes but that is true on the topic of clones. but if you split in half and feel/think/experience everything both halfs do and then when you get back into one full version you, you maintain memories of those feelings, thoughts and experience then its not clone, its you. if you split in two and one half dies, you lose that half of you forever (theoretically speaking, ofc we would need cari to confirm or deny if that is how it works but its safe assumption) so both parts are objectively "you". how is it still NTR then?

I don't really wanna get into the weeds of it, but I hope the next version scales back the seggs for some more story. Compared to some of the previous updates, I felt the last was a little lacking and almost felt rushed in some places. Make no mistake, it's still great and it's still Eternum and it'll probably play a lot better when it's "the whole game" rather than judging it update by update.
I'd love to be a fly on the wall and have some insight on what caribdis's plans are after Eternum. Seems like the guy can't put a foot wrong sometimes, he needs to be studied!

At one point it's stated (possibly truthfully - no way to verify) that the founder created Idriel and SHE created the weapons of Atlas.

i think its safe assumption that is a lie ulysses preach to players. we already know eternum is not just a game, that npc are not just that, so there is no reason why should we believe anything else said by founder or ulysses.

one thing i gotta praise Cari even more now is how far he came on writing, especially on how the harem is forming:
In OIAL it pretty much sums up to: "MC bangs all girls and they all agree on being ok with sharing him"
While in Eternum, Orion does realize he could be playing with all the girls' feelings, and tries to come up with a possible solution, until Nancy comes to his aid and takes upon herself to find a solution to breaking the news to the girls. (I don't wanna sound rude but it's basically telling him "don't worry sweetie, just keep banging them and me, don't break our hearts and i'll handle the rest", and i love her for that!)

Man wtf with this update, this shit was so peak! Probably my favorite update till now
I am here to rant and share my amusement when I was in Review reading 1 star ratings. I feel sad for those who has been playing slop tier story game and when they play this they are having a hard time adapting this level of story and character development. I truly feel bad for them.
I understand they try this game just to fap but everyone kind of did and stayed for story. and I saw a few of them saying characters look like a soyboy and love interests are rough around the edge expect for a few, Like damn do they play games where the characters developments is a myth and non existence.
Maybe I am being protective because I played since 0.1 but I seen so many games getting fuck over by their own creator. like Waifu Academy for example.
I understand they try this game just to fap but everyone kind of did and stayed for story. and I saw a few of them saying characters look like a soyboy and love interests are rough around the edge expect for a few, Like damn do they play games where the characters developments is a myth and non existence.
