You can check the Devs Patreon for the current Progress. Currently 43% of v0.2 are finished. The post is available for everyone without paying money.

And from my experience, it is worth the wait. I have not played Eternum yet, but Once in a Lifetime was very good (discovered it at v0.9) and waiting vor 1.0 was worth it.
Maybe emphasize that on the first post.. a lot of game dev Patreon posts are typically behind a paywall..

Like if you are looking for game update posts, click on a Patreon link with tags of updates or what not..

I don't like curruption or some shit with non consensual things(not my thing I'm bit of sensitive), his previous game lewds where only with lis and no one complaint anything about it with story and timing of the scenes with nice romance these are the things that differs an adult games from porn games and it's upto developer's mind to drive in which direction.

Are any of you worried about there being too many vanilla games out there nowadays?
I‘m not worried about that because
  1. I like Vanilla myself so the more the better and
  2. I admit that I am so jaded to incest that it doesn‘t bother me anymore. Thinking about it, if a game does contain incest, I don‘t consider it non-vanilla anymore.
I‘m a big fan of Caribdis first game and I‘m almost certain this game will feel like OiaLt, but with improved visuals (and holy hell are those visuals improved). At least when I started I immediately recognized Caribdis‘ style. So, again, not too worried about vanilla games overall and most certainly not worried that Eternum will not live up to the standards the dev has set with his first game.

Absolutely. At this point incest is so pervasive that it has, within the context of adult VNs, become vanilla.

I don't get what's wrong with vanilla anyway. Vanilla can be super fun and exciting. Maybe it's not your thing. If that's the case, move on. But as criticism goes, it's not a valid evaluation of quality.

If Caribdis teach us something in his other game is that the only one that can allow the girls getting ntr is yourself and your decisions, just smash the right option and deny the other walking drones a taste of the grills

And that it'll probably lead to a bad end.

I really liked Once upon a time so I'm trying this one out too!

I did the math on that 31 trillion market capitalization. Hehe, they'd need to sell about 12 billion of those 2500$ neural implants to get there. :p Guess there's a monthly fee too!

I guess it's set around 2030?

Considering it was mentioned that Eternum was called "the drug of the rich," I highly doubt that Ulysses has managed to have sold that amount of neural implants.

I also don't think there's a monthly fee, otherwise Annie would've mentioned that to the MC at any point prior to him joining.

With that said, there's a lot of other possible ways one could do to monetize a game like Eternum:

-selling/renting out servers to people who want their own custom-built world (like how EA/Dice does it with Battlefield)

-selling worldbuilding tools to creators for a fee (or an annual license like how Microsoft does it)

-having an asset store where creators can buy and sell assets for a fee...hell, I wouldn't even be surprised if they have the latter as a sort of in-app store where they could sell hairstyles, costumes, weapon skins, etc. for those who want it (I mean, if I were the Founder I would add that...beats having a monthly fee to be honest).

Yeah, one very obvious thing I didn't account for in my calculation is that market capitalization has relatively little to do with sales, its mostly speculation on future worth. Even if Teslas sell well, the sales aren't anywhere close to justifying the stock price; TSLA is still skyhigh and Musk is the richest man on earth on paper, mainly because electrification of transportation is a very good bet. Dunno why that didn't come to mind immediately.

I finished playing in the meantime. It's very promising, theres not much more to write yet because it ends at an early stage, but I can tell itll be at least as good as Once in a lifetime. 0.1 is already a solid cornerstone story-wise.

Exactly what I was thinking, about Elon Musk. It could also be ad revenue and certainly personal data monetization (like facebook, twitter, youtube, etc.)

I'm gonna show my appreciation for the game in the form of a mini review/feedback.

I'm already biased since I loved once in a lifetime. I am excited as the dev has already proven his chops in terms in writing a compelling story and breathing life into characters.

For eternum, there are many right elements to hook interest right at the start. The universe of VR gaming/metaverse is always an interesting concept, if the popularity of SAO is anything to go by. The characters so far are pretty, albeit a few of them appearing generic. But one can have only so many different elements before things start coinciding with other works.

One critique i would mention is the dialogue of the MC. The ever so polite, NPC form of speech he has displayed is failing to develop a core character so far. The MC from OIAL had witty humor and charm to him. The current MC feels like a customer sales rep. Certainly his overly friendly demeanor despite being fobbed off is off putting at times. I do wonder if it is meant to portray his European upbringing .

The renders are high quality. The amount of content more than I anticipated. The interest is there and I'm batting for an all out harem as we have previously seen.

Good look Caribdis. Hoping this one is a knock out of the park too!
