It's just logical deduction.
You ask one of the the guards "Which door would the other guard say is safe?"
It doesn't matter which guard you ask. Both will point to the same door. The incorrect one.
The answer from the guard telling the truth will be the incorrect door, because the liar that he's talking about will tell you the incorrect door.
The answer from the liar will be a lie, so he'll also point you to the incorrect door.
Hence, whichever answer is given, you pick the opposite.

Less milking and more a textbook example of mismanagement and letting feature/scope creep dictate how you work on your game (I can think of ANOTHER project that's basically like that.../side-eyes Star Citizen).
Then again IIRC DC never really intended the game to balloon this far and that he started it as a sort of exercise/concept for something (work-related, I think?), so he probably DIDN'T had an outline or a plan or didn't do proper scoping of the project to begin with (unlike Cari...or just about any dev with a concrete idea as to what he/she wants to achieve for that matter).
Nova's my 3rd (Luna is 2nd) but NGL...she's kinda muscling towards the 2nd spot for me (could be that her ass is starting to mind control me...or my interactions with the Church of Nova are starting to have an effect).

If I'm being completly honest here, at first Nova was much lower in my list (yeah almost last
) because I tought Caribdis was making a character with the chunibyo syndrom due to her eyepatch (I couldn't be more wrong about that haha) but she grew on me and I think four is a good place for her since there is not much difference in liking between each place in my list just personnal preferences.That would make something like this:

Cari likes his tropes but I doubt he would ever do something THAT cringy. First thought I had when I saw Nova was that she had a blind eye or something hence the eyepatch. Turns out it was slightly less serious than I thought. Slightly.
Don't think that's gonna work. A good Luna event filled with some lore stuff and feel good moments might keep her in the spot, but if Nova's event (assuming she gets in the planned 3 Alex-tier scenes this coming update) is as heartfelt as it is lewd...View attachment 2890168

I generally like all off the LIs and I don't reeeeaaaally care, who the others put on 1st and 2nd or whatever, but just going "They're all great, aren't they?" "They sure are!" "Hell yes!"..."So...see you when the new update has hit!" would make for a very boring and dead thread.

I don't mind the slow burn. It's the character story, progression, and development that I'm basing it on, and Luna has a one-up on Nova in that regard back in 0.5...although yes, Nova's hijinks has been a joy to watch as of late which is why she's been hovering close to that 2nd spot (not to mention Luna has the help of a good side cast in the form of her family and Pancho to make her story a lot more compelling (and fun), while Nova doesn't have that luxury but gets by with the crazy shit she gets herself into (and how she finds a way to power or absolutely bumble her way through)).I was inventing fire, alright?! You should just be able to click on the hearts on the top left corner of the screen and if she isn't greyed out on the LI screen, you should still be on her path.
At least I think that is what happens, since I never lost any path.
