No exact story per se, but Cari does take a lot of his characters and plot points' inspo from mythology. Dorfnutter made quite a few posts in between 0.4 and 0.5 discussing the similarities/reference points with his prominent one being this. Fair warning for spoilers if you haven't played up to the end of the 0.5 content. Enjoy!

My personal feelings for quiz sections aside, he doesn't exactly had a choice given the irl developments on the matter. Not to mention it's a lot easier to redo a few dialogue lines over adding an optional extra segment of Orion needlessly lashing out after a massive fuckup (and only contributes to Idriel seeing Orion "going drunk" with his powers).That's all great and all but...

In a game that's thematically about death, rebirth, and defying fate...does it even matter if he's dead or not? He's the main character, I'm pretty sure he'll stay in that role up to the very end...but he won't come out of this without at least a "scar" or two or a slightly more humbled attitude, that's for sure.Ahh But is He Dead? Don't think so sirens in the distance, passing out because of blood loss, but still breathing. Cari is the Master of Cliffhangers get use to it grasshopper.

Can't recall if it was around 0.5 - 0.6. He didn't redo it per se, just added some dialogue about Twitter being X now and all that.

oh, btw i was meaning to thank you for this link for a while now
, but i always forget, which is ironic since I listen everyday, my truly absolute favorite song from the game so far, which is funny since nancy is kind of on the bottom of the food chain for me, and also its my least favorite sex scene, because of Orion behaviour, but damn this song hit differentI've always been a fan of how Caribdis uses background elements to bring scenes to life (stuff like Chang getting tripped at the pool, the guy in the gym running on the treadmill like he's Raiden running down the side of a skyscraper about to cut a Metal Gear in half, etc). Stuff that may or may not ever be directly referenced by the people talking that catches the corner of your eye, making you want to rollback to see the progression of events.
But the one thing I find myself always being on the lookout for regardless of what's going on in the scene is Carolyn's antics.
