Well... Cari has stated that he intends to release the update BEFORE Christmas, so who knows, unless something happens, quite possibly in November or the end of November.

if Cari said he intends to release updates before Christmas, it shows how much he is trying to release the release faster, it doesn't matter if it will be released on Christmas or before Christmas, but he has already set a goal. So he is close

That would depend on how meticulous the bug squashing is prior to and right before Public Release. I still remember seeing Cari mention on Discord that 0.7.3 was the last update and that there will be no more updates leading to the Public Release...only for one no-lifing bug hunter to submit a bunch of last minute bug reports and typos for Cari to fix.
