I haven't played this update (maybe not the last one either?) but let me get this straight... Luna has the fewest scenes, didn't get a 'confession scene' this update, and is the only girl without a full sex scene but to add farther insult some girls have had multiple sex scenes and there was even a threesome before Luna even gets her first one?! Does the dev just not like Luna or something?
This is a consistent problem with harem games, the devs always plays favorites, showering one girl with all the scenes while there's at least one girl with less than half everyone else's.
Whatever, that's...fine. That's good and fine and I'm not upset or bitter in the slightest...

I think Luna is everyone favorite girl,with that information Cardi will hype her confession and sex scene alot,but I'm pretty sure next update she doesn't escape and gets one of the best scenes in the game

Luna, Because she's the only main LI left that don't have a sex scene and she's kinda getting jealous of Annie
Penny, She didn't get much attention this update,so to compensate Carib will throw a scene with her,Maybe a threesome but i still don't know with who might be

Doubt a Penny threesome. She will likely get a solo one with confession, Luna and Calypso will have their first times and with 0.10 onwards we'll get all 3somes that've been hinted

Some girls are social, experienced, outgoing or even sexually agressive. Some are shy and meek. Luna is arguably the most concentrated case of the latter. So with her you take it slow and steady, not just slap a sex scene together for the sake of it and some "content balance". This is what makes Caribdis games so great in my opinion - (s)he treats the character like actual character, with personality, backstory, thoughts, desires and fears and insecurities.

yeah I found out entirely by accident when I got the event lol. I still had over 900 eternals since I got the Jackpot in the Casino chapter, so I gave her the 80 to let bygones be bygones (I didn't steal her statue cuz I figured it would come back to haunt me), so hopefully that investment does something meaningful (like making replacing Hasan with her easier may be)

Loved everything in the update except the Stanley Parable bit, that "game" is insufferable in and of itself, really don't need it spreading. First time I just mashed the skip button in this game until it was over.

Music Renders and Animations are top but it can't save bad writing

i enjoy the writing, but also not everyone have same definition of good writing, or writing in general. For some writing is everything, i mean you are reading a novel so everything is written. World is written, relationships are written, plot is written, characters are written etc. for others writting is just about plot.
See for me when you say writing is dog shit i assume you mean there isnt anything you liked in your 30min reading experience. But maybe you just meant to say you dont like the premise of the plot.

Personally i find all the characters well written, even the side characters like jerry or scenes with raul i enjoyed a lot. Heck, i even like chop-chop every time i see him but i understand how others would find him very irritating.
I dont understand what you mean by reusing assets. if you are talking about similar body figures i heard that critics before so it is probably valid opinion. Personally i like the girls and i dont find them all that similar so its all subjective in the end.
No comment on MC, i honestly dont know many games with objectively amazing MC figure. Though later on i like Orion much more than in beggining.
What specifically you hate about plot? I mean its not like there is some groundbreaking bad stuff i missed, its probably just nuanse. I mean you dont start reading harry potter and say

Luna had the spotlight in 0.7 with a coffee shop scene, she was part of the main eternum event of the episode where you could also pick her branch to get as much of her as possible, and she had one of the updates 3 lewd scenes.

Sure, she's a slow burner and will be the last girl to get the intercourse scene (probably next update), but when you get the spotlight you're likely to be on the backburner in the next update. Annie and Dahlia were due for stuff in this one.

Same with Penny who had the spotlight last update. She didn't technically even show her face in this one. Only briefly in MC's mind. At least Luna did multiple times.

After the developer came up with the idea of paying a patreon or ex-patreon to chat on the discord server, I decided I was going to pirate the game.
I thought it was a bastardization. His argument is “Ahh we were suffering from bot raids so now only patreon and ex patreon can chat”.

But I was Ex patreon in mid role and couldn't chat anyway, so I lost patience and left the disc server.

I'm really impressed with the visuals this episode too - but how high is that on my personal list of "importance?" Not that high, actually.

Character development (mostly for the girls), and plot are the highest tier for me. I've been playing episode 1 and episode 2 since finishing 0.8... And I have to say, there's a lot more in those episodes. They also have something intangible to them too, there's a purity to it that feels missing from 0.8 (totally a taste thing, not claiming "facts").

0.8, to me, feels bogged down by cramming too much into it. And it's not an embarrassment of riches.

The episode is much better on the back end. After the New World, it feels like Eternum again, with a better emphasis on Orion's interactions with the three girls covered in the back half.

From a narrative perspective (after replaying as much as I could stomach) the episode is divided. I really hated the first half (bar a couple of moments), but the second half was back to what Eternum has always felt like (for me).

There's reasonable reactions to the value of work done and there's unreasonable reactions to work done.

"Valuing different things" is part of unreasonable expectations you put on a task achieved by someone else and thinking they should have done more when they met the expectations and goal set.

Yeah, still trying to wrap my head around why Orion has those "jump" abilities... There's also that Idriel talk about Orion doing the same thing over and over again. Maybe Orion's (and his past 'selves') stuck in a loop of always taking the same decisions. I'm kinda confused lol

Anyway, great update, great game, 10/10. Dev's patreon earnings are totally deserved

it's hard to parse, part of me thinks it's connected to him just being more integrated with Eternum. That he is able to jump based on that. We see another who posses some ability based on their compatibility. Then there is what Idriel said, that perhaps he is doing this through past lives. That he is related to the original usurper or whatever. But then the way she says it actually leads me to believe she is talking about how he is always since joining Eternum surviving encounter after encounter. Narrowly avoiding his fate. Like in the Alley. Like with Thanatos. Besides if he were related what does that make the Founder? How did he get access to all of this? He's the one i believe that is related to someone.
