As a Brit, I feel I should be offended, but I also realise that sadly I have to agree.
Britian aint doing so Great these days, I personally blame 25 years of really bloody bad governments... and considering that we call the IRA terrorist period of time "The Troubles", that's saying something.
Also, I too forgot that Annie is British... but it makes sense, we tend to get ignored until we get our moment to shine, and when we do...

I don't think anyone here really hates Britian, lol. It's all satire, at least to me. You're British, I'm American, together we're chill. (y)

Still can't stop imagining Annie's lines in a British accent now, though. :ROFLMAO:

[0.9] - Progress Report

Hello everyone!

It’s been quite a while since my last progress report, so I thought now would be a great time to share a quick update on how development is going!

As you already know if you read my previous posts, the start of version 0.9’s development was a bit rough. A lot happened all at once, and I wasn’t exactly operating at peak productivity for a few weeks. But as you probably know already too, things are going better now. I’m back to my usual pace, and although there’s still work to do to make up for that slow start, progress is moving steadily.

As you can see in the pinned post, we’re currently sitting at 44% complete (though keep in mind that number is just an estimate—it becomes more accurate as we get closer to 100%). So far, I’ve completed 741 renders and 25 animations, all fully coded and with their corresponding dialogue! (over 6,900 lines of code, to be precise).

Now, I know I’ve said this for the last three updates in a row… but once again, I really do expect this to be the biggest update yet. More renders, more dialogue, and more hours of content than ever before!

The first part of the update will take place in Hyril’ar, Calypso’s realm.

This section will be a major part of the update and a crucial arc in the overall story. While parts of it will be optional or may branch based on your choices, it will feature plenty of important moments. You’ll uncover hidden secrets, meet a lot of new side characters—some friendly, others not so much—and, of course, grow closer to our magical elven princess. I’ve also been working on some cool new mechanics that I can’t wait for you to experience! (Don’t worry, no overly complicated minigames.)

If the first sneak peeks will mostly feature our elven friends, fear not—0.9 will contain much more. All the girls will have screen time, with some of them seeing key developments in your relationship with them. The main plot will also keep advancing steadily toward the grand finale, which gets closer and closer every day (while being still far, no panic).

In total, v0.9 will include 4 new lewd scenes, featuring at least five different girls—each one fully animated and similar in length to previous scenes.

Thanks for the re-up, really helpful. Do we know which girls are getting scenes in this update ? I’m guessing Calypso might be one of them. That would finally answer the question a lot of people here have been asking whether she’s actually a LI for Orion or not.

We do not, but speculation is rampant. Personally I'm in the camp of those who think her maid is gonna get the action and Calypso will just watch. For research. Totally. Because humans are gross. Yeah. Super gross.

Honestly, I can totally picture her in that kind of scenario. It fits perfectly with her arrogant, aristocratic vibe. No doubt we’ll get some pretty funny dialogue with her in this update for sure :)

The only point of contention for me is that last ep, Orion doubled down on the "I love you" stance for the main girls. This makes it jarring if he's gonna bang a random maid all of a sudden. Maybe that's just me though.

No, not just you. Even on Cari's Discord there are some hoping that Lorelei doesn't get a scene coz they don't want Orion to cheat on the girls (and because some think Lorelei looks younger for an elf and they don't want to end up in the FBI watchlist for wanting to bang her :HideThePain: ).

For all those who still have three question marks, I give you something to think about what blooms in EP 9.

I have never seen such a structured relationship pyramid in my well over 50 interested VN's and the Dev mercilessly pulls it through! Anyone who was in EP 8 in a very specific path has felt this painfully.

I've already written it, but I write it again:

IT IS END OF FUN !!! FACT!!!
