If you plan on playing both anyway, I would suggest Eternium first, then MBML. The main reason is Eternium is much earlier in production, while MBML is much longer. You'll get through it quicker, assuming you read the story and not just fast-forward both.

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to give you all a quick catch-up about the game.
The full outline of 0.5 is now ready, and the main events of the update are all written down!
This time, we will spend more time outside Eternum (aka "the real world"). However, you can expect a lot of different scenarios and situations as always! There will be 3 new H-scenes, and we will be able to continue the romantic progression with all the girls (as usual, some will have more screen time than others).
I'll start posting previews and news about the development very soon, so stay tuned! We'll be there before you know it!
Also, 0.5 will have the amount of content as the previous updates (a big one), but I wanted to use the occasion to make sure that my release schedule is to your liking. I can't work faster (nor slower!), but I can continue releasing big updates as usual, or release smaller ones (less content, but more frequent).

I don't care about bigger or smaller as long as the amount of content we get fits the time it took to release it. Don't need another developer (name withheld, for now) taking 2 years between updates.
I recommend Desert Stalker and The City Of Broken Dreamers
+1 for both. City of Broken Dreamers has some shockingly good world building in it.
You should see a Renpy file folder on your HD that will contain a folder for each Renpy game you've played. It will have your save files an your persistent file. When you start playing the update, you should be able to pick up where you left off. Depending on the game, you may have to scroll back a page or two to get the update to engage an not think it's at the end of the game.
What you're referring to is the daz3d software that games like Melody and Being a DIK use right? I HATE how those models look too so I only play those that use Honey Select models (like Eternum and OIAL). The uncanny valley thing is way too much for me.

For HS games I highly recommend Pale Carnations, as well as House In The Rift and Ripples. The latter two are at least one or two tiers below Caribdis' games imo but Pale Carnations... well it competes with Eternum for #1 on this site for a reason. Still prefer Eternum though

if Once in a Lifetime, the previous game, is any indicator, yes it should be possible, though I think there will probably be like backlash from certain girls finding out about each other, and if you don't get the right amount of score with each of them (and probably making some sort of deal with Chop Chop), you won't get the full harem ending.
i actually realized that enjoy non-harem games more. Having to choose one over the other adds to immersivity to me than harem.
To be fair, Once in a Lifetime had individual endings for each girl, there wasn't any big differences in the endings though, so if you really wanted to, you could just shoot for one girl in eternum and have that non-harem experience. Me personally, I want all the girls, they all have awesome personalities.
I don't quite remember exactly, but I think you don't see any of the girls you drop in the ending, like you don't see what happened in their lives, as for the individual endings themselves, there are I think the harem ending pictures but remove all the girls except the one you picked.
