I'm still not sure, how to go about this...doing a completely new playthrough every time a patch comes out? I think that would burn me out eventually, considering the game doesn't have that many different paths (at least not in the sense, that you would deliberately take them, in my opinion).

Spoiler: ...Well if Cari would just stop doing stuff like this then maybe we broke-ass lore hunters won't be forced to replay the game just to see what changed...

Maybe I will just create a game and start "milking" like Caribdis is doing and then I can finaly have access to that tier (this is sarcasm btw)

Oh it's not the milking I'm having issue with (though I don't even think what I posted counts as milking), but the retroactive changes that're likely not even mentioned in the changelog (i.e. changing the timeline of Ulysses showing up in the opening narration from a "few years" to "over a decade"; backstory rewrite for Penny from being a Freshman to Junior year so that Cari could age her, Dalia, and Orion up in the Warthogs flashback...but didn't reflect in her 0.1 dialogue until people pointed it out and Cari corrected in the 0.5 public release) that just makes me cry (because it means I have to replay just to see what's changed and what hasn't).

Well, that is stuff you do just to see that scene, I think. But I doubt I could omit that Penny flashback for a perfect playthrough.

For now, it's not really an issue. But once it reaches beyond 0.10? When an entire replay could take around 2-3 days worth of reading?

Don't think that's the case. And iirc, the same changes happened in OIALT (one example from the dev's previous project was Dr. Monroe aka Samael in some scenes of the game. When the protagonist, Judie and Lauren were going to Lilith's lab, he was in the train with them, though with his back turned in the final version, but in the previous ones he wasn't aboard).

Edit: As for changes made in Eternum, one example is the Carters' cat Carolyn (her model was quickly changed by the time v0.2 came out) and Penny was previously a freshman before she was changed to a junior (I believe I pointed that out sometime ago when v0.5 came out after Penny at the party said Regina had been screwing her over for 3 years straight), she was also 20 along with Nova before they changed to 21 some versions later).

Yeah I supp my comment, I don't think it's milking either, just imagine 20 updates during 4 hours each ? That's why I only replay the last 3 or 4 updates now and if I feel like it i replay it from the start.
By the way, I replay the first encounter between Nova and the MC and i found that the sentences doesn't make sense :

Probably by "friend" she meant "batchmate/schoolmate"?

That's why I specifically said it's a lore hunter issue (particularly the ones who scrounge through every slide and dialogue and take notes and speculate), and not an "average player gunning for a perfect harem playthrough" issue (lol).

But that also means you don't really have to play it again, if you keep a couple of save games.

That's assuming Cari specifically mentions where he made the changes in his changelog, and not just make a blanket statement saying he made changes but omit specifically what those changes are because spoilers. -_-

I'm sure people here will point them out. Also I will likely play the whole game every now and then again anyway, especially when it got the final update in couple of years.

i dont think thats the case, just right know i have 150 games downloaded and i download about that quantity of different games every time i have changed pc wich since 2019 has been 4 times so i played minimum 500 games

I'm replaying it just to see the funny moments, there's some that are just nail on the head. But if I had to choosse 1 luna/father are too much, can't deny like daughter like father. But overall they all have their moments. Like babysitter being empress, mc with his cloth when going with dalia. nova/alex explaining what happen in calipso fight, mc with the 2 asians, nova/alex turned cartoon, too many good scenes and good storyline.

...So you're telling me that you've downloaded around 150 games and you're complaining that - barring JP games - most of them are unfinished or abandoned...which implies that none of these games here are on that list of 150 games. None. Is that what you're saying?
