Anyone know all the background songs used in this game ? i only know a couple which is
blah blah blah by camille de la cruz(penny lambo scene) and silverware by katnip (nova in her room scene)
This is a compilation I made for personal use. It has most of the vocal tracks and a couple instrumental versions of a few of the songs as well.

Yeah, I'm afraid it is going to become more prevalent from now onwards, so I'm tented to go to his Discord and provide constructive criticism, hopefully to attract more attention to this minor -for now- issue.

Do you now if his Discord is open to provide said criticism? Or is a fan ridded shit show where any negative comment is met with screeching sounds?
The Discord is open to your considerations - peeps there aren't going to scare you away for pointing out stuff you don't agree.
I agree with many of the points you made, in fact.

However... as Dorfnutter said, I don't know if the dev himself will change his ways. Other people have said similar stuff to him and he's been adamant on his choices.

While a reaction would have being nice, what Cari said is true, Orion appeared with Nova, just having a funny moment of panic over anything else (also Nova didn't knew about Orion getting shot at that point), so Nancy took it as " He got hurt and healed again" and moved to the important part that was helping them calm their minds.

About Calypso, i also would like for Her to spend an update before the plot comes like a train out of control and force Calypso and the gang to take action.

One of the few games that I look forward to every updating and never miss. I play all versions starting from 0.1, and I always go through from start to finish. And even though I know most of the plot by heart, I always feel sincere emotions, just like the first time.

Great storyline, Great music, Great girls (Alex is forever in my heart), Great supporting characters... In short, everything is GREAT in this game.

Thank you so much for such a Wonderful game!!!

Or, as I said, Thanatos ultimately manages to breach Hyril'ar and starts going full "Sephiroth in Nibelheim," prompting Caly's parents/General Arranis/Caly's people to entrust her to Orion and with their shared powers they port themselves back to Eternum (or possibly Kredon).
Ik I just like going for the less likely theories sometimes since it activates my neurons.

Although the funny thing, if an invasion were to happen, is that I don't think Thany would be the one invading Hyril'ar. I have to assume that Hyril'ar will have some strong people out there (either close to if not as strong as Caly) so I think it won't be that easy to conquer. With that in mind, even if Thany's strong, I personally don't think he has the power to take over Hyril'ar or most importantly the incentive to go to all of that trouble. Orion will have to come back to claim the gems after all, no need to rush things.

Thus if the theories are true* I think it would make way more sense for the Usurper to come back with an army of "NPC's" to take what is "rightfully" his. I presume that Hyril'ar is/was protected by something that stopped Yliar and his descendents from taking over/finding the place again. Caly's "Nuke" (weakens the barier) and Orion's presence (acts like a beacon) could be what allows for the return of Yliar or his bloodline.

Now that will cement the founder as the threat he really is. Maybe that is exactly how he "created" Eternum to begin with: conquering worlds and enslaving the inhabitants.

Either that or I played too much SC lately and The Founder reminds me of the OG (SC1/BW) Mensk:KEK:

Not sure if the Founder would even want to invade Hyril'ar, considering Idriel's words on the matter suggesting that his goals differ from that of the Usurper (wanting to cheat death vs. wanting to conquer everything).

Plus part of me is still wondering if the Anima tale is 100% accurate, given that it happened a long time ago and some details might have been forgotten by the elves themselves and that those missing details might end up being important to the plot later on (such as how Anima became Idriel, assuming that particular theory is true).

Also I'm of the opinion that we haven't seen Thanny in full power yet. That is, most of the encounters Orion had with Thanny is the latter basically showcasing a miniscule amount of effort in taking down our resident horndog. I say this because he basically has a Weapon of Atlas in his arsenal, and yet not once has he used it against our boy. However, I'm sure he'll have a more monstrous approach if he ends up taking on Hyril'ar, prompting Orion and Caly to consider finding a method that will ultimately end that undead terminator of a player once and for all.

That is, unless that method happens to be just one purchase away c/o Chop Chop. :HideThePain:

God this new update is gonna be exciting. And you make a good point about Thany and his secret weapon. Although, personally, I'd rather see him as he is now (AKA very skilled, knowledgeable but flawed) instead of him being too OP. That usually leads to a slippery slope right to the stereotypical anime villain who's op just for the sake of being op and conveniently dies at the end when the MC is OP enough.

Granted I don't think Cali is going there with Thany and, as I said, I'm assuming that the Elves are powerful but this assumption could be very wrong. They could be the type of elves that allowed their peace and arrogance to erode their skills and in that case Thany could give them a rough wake up call.

But this does remind me: do we have any clue about who's really behind Thany? I know people thought it's either the Founder or William but at this point the Founder seems very unlikely and IDK what to think about Willie.

BAH! IDK why I'm even worried. Even if Thanatos is working for Infinity Thanos he still doesn't hold a candle to Chop Chop.
He who has the right tool for every situation including but not limited to:
> THE Anti-Thanatos Spray Bottle - a quick spray towards Thanatos and he runs away like bad cat.
> THE Founder Repellent - apply this in the morning and the Founder will leave you alone for the rest of the day.
> IGOR - best companion to keep the enemies OCCUPIED or for the lonely nights.
> Some OP Weapon That Can Probably Destroy An Entire Universe - 1 use only.
And if none of these items work, remember the ancient saying

i get the first part of this, as does us all, Orion has a "greater unknown purpose" in Eternum's fate, that explains his connection to the Gems of Doom and how he can still access them without the implant.
However the part about Nova still intrigues me, maybe she and Dione also have a "greater unknown purpose" and thus, have a similar connection?

Oh, I interpreted that more as "the Gems of Doom and the Weapons of Atlas are special compared to any other items" more than the wearers having a greater purpose.

Important Update: Changes to the Game’s Music

Hey everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to share an important update regarding Eternum’s soundtrack. Due to a licensing and guidelines issue with a music platform, we’ve had to remove all of its content from the game. Unfortunately, this means that a few of the tracks you’ve come to love will no longer be present.

However, thanks to the incredible effort of several community members, we’ve replaced those songs with other free alternatives and AI-generated pieces to try to maintain the game’s atmosphere. This wasn’t a choice we made willingly, but a necessary action to ensure the project can continue without complications.

Keep in mind that the new version 0.8.6 doesn't include any new content—the only change is the updated sound.

Resolving this issue temporarily paused development, but we’re now back on track and moving forward with 0.9 as planned.

I truly appreciate your understanding and support through this. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but I hope you’ll continue to enjoy Eternum as we keep improving it.

Sincerely,

Caribdis

For some strange reason I felt that sooner or later this would happen...:cautious: usually this happens to many of some Avn's because of the license...

although I'm sure many have already managed to save these tracks thanks to Eternum and even became partially famous!

Welp, that was fun while it lasted.

Guess the game finally got big enough that those damnable fucks at those "royalty free music" sites started to take notice.

(Also I suppose it didn't help that SOME people just had to yap at the YT comments of some artists' YT channels that had their songs featured in Eternum which eventually put the game in their crosshairs. Thanks a lot guys. Really did a solid for Cari there. :cautious:)

Note that for some songwriters this is It won't be a plus, but on the contrary it will be a minus! :cautious: Although they should be grateful that their soundtracks on YouTube have always been known because of Eternum

Exposure is the name of the game. Not like they are making money off of streaming their music.
I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened to Badik, Eternum and they always had and still have top soundtracks...
and thanks to that they sometimes even become trending on YouTube and Spotify
