I attempted to be funny by adding the word "bimbo" at the end (the joke being she still looks like a "blonde bimbo" despite her non-bimbo characteristics), but I guess my joke delivery fell very flat lol.

Penny is a support/healer type, isn't she? There are not too many ways to make that flash or cool, but I am sure Carib will be able to figure it out and make her impactful during some upcoming missions. Maybe she saves Orion during an important fight with a boss?

I really like them, specially the one for Alex and the one for Calypso. Love how they all move, and the subtle ways in which some parts move independently from the rest. Great job!!!Don't wanna to spam too much,so here's the last post with all the sigs I tried to make

I hear you man. But you can't deny that Penny is the most valuable member of the team. Because you know she is the only healer/buffer in the team. I mean, at least in the canon.
She may not be as powerful as Caly when it comes to healing/buffing but I'm pretty sure her restoration skills are going to be super important in the next episodes. Since MC and other girls are full DPS type characters, Penny is the only Support character in the team if we need to speak in general RPG terms.
Personally, I can't wait to see Penny in action. So far we've seen all the other girls in action, right? So it is time to see Penny! If she's even half as strong as Caly, no one can stop Orion. Literally no one. Including Thanatos and The Founder.

2. The entire section in the warthog server wouldn't happen without her.
3. Her role during the heist.
4. Also pretty sure neither Orion nor Nova would have been at the party if it wasn't for Penny inviting them.
5. Her role during the vampire/werewolves server.
6. Send amazing pictures of her own bosom and of Dalia's butt to Orion (yes, that counts as motivating Orion which is good for the team, change my mind

This just illustrates the common problem with pre-conceived notions and why Penny does have issues on par with her fellow LI’s if not worse. Because she is gorgeous, people assume she has it easy and life is great. Nothing she does counts and is often ignored, every advantage she has is blown out of proportion.Mmh, hello ?

1) Penny only helps with one question and your argument for that would be more valid if final result is always 1 question difference but thats not true, you can win by a landslide if you guess everything right (aside the imposible question that you cant guess right and you only have a choice to be wrong by listening to chang or by your own fault), so technically she did nothing there but it was a nice inclusion of her character in the scene and it surely shows her personality... i would hardly say it can count as proof she contributing to the team.
2) warthog server was wholesome and it really made me like penny as character thanks to taking a glimpse of her memories but overall one can argue that whole server is a filler episode because if you remove it nothing is taken away from main plot (looking for gems of doom, unraveling secrets of eternum, finding out the truth about founder etc.)
3) i think anyone can play the role of bimbo being staged killed and worst case scenario they can just think of something else. Her role in heist was more of a "throwing a bone" to someone rather than giving them role only they can fulfill
4) this is absolutely true, orion (nor Nova for whyever that matters) would not go to that party, though again they would just play games in eternum or do something else so again, filler content, nothing regarding main plot is learned in that party other than some weird shenanigans if orion gets high which can also easily be discarded as evidence as it would not hold on court.stuff you see while high are not credible although i understand we can meta game and look deeper into it because we know its a game.
5) her role during vampire can easily be filled by orion and have him skip the dilemma of choosing where to go, after all by going to investigate the stuff Penny did you dont lose anything from Luna's path because if you are on her path you can find her in the barn and get her scene even if you choose to go with penny or in this "what if" scenario if you two split and you go to investigate what penny did without her.
6) this just proves my point i am making that she is just filler content and not that important.
lastly i want to say i really like penny and even though she is not very high on my personal list of favorite girls i do think she is well written, i just love being devils advocate and showing different perspectives
i would not be heartbroken if story was written without her but i also wont deny that Penny brings lot of nice things on the table though admitedly if you go back and read my previous posts that was genuine and not just devil advocate shenanigans, meaning if you read comments where i voice my opinions and not fooling around you would see the pattern where lot of my issues with games involve penny in one way or another

well thats a cop-out argument. hard to disprove but cheap shot because it comes from angle of ignorance and baseless assumption. you already made up your mind and anything people try to say to prove you wrong would just fall on deafened ears as you wold throw it away as "they are just making excuses for themselves but i know them better than they know themselves".
Personally i like penny but she is definitely on the lower spectrum of the bottom half when it comes to love interests, wouldnt say she is worst or least interesting but she is up there. sorry, i meant she is down there.
That does not mean i ignore or not take seriously her character and involvement, its just that in terms of story importance she is not up there with the goats. When it comes to importance and individuality, nobody can replace nova with her hacking skills and impecable aim. nobody has as much ties to eternums "behind the scenes" as the daughter of william bardot, none of the LI's have managment skills and knowledge for strategizing like Nancy does (other than maybe chang and even then my statement holds because he is not LI), Luna and Daliah are very knowledgable of the game and useful assets in hunting gems of doom and can hold their own. i mean Daliah can easily compete with Orion in terms of physical skills and she does it without his cheats. I am not taking away from Penny's character, its just that she is least impactful for the whole story as things she brings on the table can easily be replaced with already included and developed LIs.
Do go on and try to bring up and point out some of the advantages she brings to the table that you think none of the other LI could pull off. because i just named you a bunch of the qualities other LIs bring on the table that she never could. can you do the same?

First, this entire Penny cutdown nonsense started with her being accused of not having the “issues” that the other girls have, which makes her less interesting. She has the easy life of no problems while life is so hard for everyone else. I already explained why, except for basically 2 cases, she has more issues to deal with than the rest of the LI cast. You can scroll back for that.
As far as her being useful within the game, I’ll start by saying that’s a pretty shitty way to look at someone and tells me more about you than about her, but you do basically what I said. She contributes but you downplay and assume it could be done by anyone, but when any other girl does a thing, it’s impossible to replace.
Annie and Dalia are good game players, but after getting Orion into the game, are not consequential. Any of their arcs could be replaced. They do nothing essential and like Penny and the Vampires, could be cut and replaced by another girl doing something similar. Nova has a god weapon. Alex has “behind the scenes” blah blah blah. Alex hasn’t done anything special or provided any info that couldn’t be found out via other means. Like you mentioned, Nova is an excellent hacker that could get that info on her own. Nancy is a great strategist, and you already pointed out that Chang can do that. Luna has a magic power that she avoids using because it makes her sad, and like Penny could be replaced by any other empathetic character as far as her contribution via the werewolves. I’ll grant Nova providing a lot, but none of the others are essential, and could just be swapped about with light rewrites.
I wouldn’t want any character to be dropped as unnecessary, but to pretend that Penny is in any way superfluous is a you issue, not a Penny issue. She’s part of the team, has contributed multiple times, whether or not you choose to count it. She is only as replaceable as many of the LIs, in that weirdly specific department that I don’t understand using as a measuring stick I guess.

Hey did anything ever happen with that lady who appears whenever Orion has a schizo moment? The ones with the spooky music that happened now and again? They haven't happened again in a while now that I about it. The woman who's always with her back to the camera and only asks two questions. Either "Will you help us?" or the "Heads or Tails?" thing. I don't think we ever found out more about her right?

the problem is, i provided the proof of what other LI bring to the table, it is up to you to provide solid proof of what penny brings to the table. and i am not undermining her as character, i am saying that when you rank all the characters whether its based on their usefullness and what they bring on the table or likeability and uniqueness of their characters its insane to think penny should be on top. and just because that sound bad does not mean opinion of character itself is bad,
i am saying she is a strong 8 surrounded by 9's and 10's but you choose to treat my comment as if i think she is a 3. that is not my problem, that is you problem. being overprotective over fictional character. and that tells me more about you than it does about penny.
i dont say penny is shit character, i am saying if i had to make a party of 4 people (average number for party in games such as eternum unless we talking raids and such) penny would not be on that list unless reason for said party is to waste time and goof around. Penny is here for good times and perspective of "noob"/"newbie" character playing eternum because we cant have that perspective with orion. i never said she is horrible character, you are just blindsighted with your white knight agenda
And i have to correct you on one thing because you said Alex hasnt done anything special. well let me remind you that without Alex Orion would never get in the party > would have much harder time learning about founder, syndicate, gems of dooms > and would never meet founder. ok that last bit is debatable, its a game which would mean one can argue if not there they would just make founder reveal himself to orion somewhere else for plot reasons but that meta gaming fact does not take away from importance of alex's last name influence at the level you are portraying it.
Another thing i must address is that i never said she has no issues but i can see how someone can make that argument (i dont agree with it, i am just saying i am not surprised some people making that claim cause people hardly surprise me on internet).
Penny have issues and we can see them through the screen of her phone so to speak as the messages she gets can really damage ones mental state and that is not something to ignore. i never said she has no issues so you are using me to argue with people who are probably not even reading your comments.
EDIT: i also see now that you are also same person i replied with post above. the jest comment where i am being devils advocate, i would advice you to treat that comment separate from my other one (the one i posted next) because while i am open for genuine debate on this topic as i started discussing upon replying to your different comment, the devils advocate thing is just a joke and not my true feelings. it is unfortunate both comments landed on same person in same time but oh well, stay asured though everything i say from here on regarding penny will be my true feelings and opinions provided you decide to respond and have more to say on the topic
