Well, he is also somewhat of a lecher. Think Cari would have been reminded if he had forgotten about that, thoughBanging girls > Coding.

I have a feeling it will in Eternum, in the not-too-distant futureMissing a period often causes a lot of chaos.![]()
Orion being eligible for the exchange program was due to that plus his high grades, yes. Personally I think that hardly matters anymore, tho it's possible that he could go back to it by the end of the story if Eternum shuts down and people go back to playing videogames the old-fashioned way.Seriously though: I had completely forgotten, that that was even the reason Orion got that scholarship because of developing a game? I would actually have to look that up again, because it really never matters in the whole game so far.![]()
Thanks for the help.The first row is correct.
The second row would be:
• My Bully is My Lover;
• Evermore;
• Marked for Eternity;
• Twisted Fates;
• The Hellcat Lounge.
I honestly just filled it in with head canon. Since you can do almost anything in Eternum the video game industry is now largely dominated by one company and there aren't as many jobs to go around, so Orion just moved on. I didn't think about it too deeply, that seemed a good enough explaination for me.Orion being eligible for the exchange program was due to that plus his high grades, yes. Who knows? He might even become the next Eric Barone and strike big with an indie hit (or create a VR game that comes close to the feeling of playing Eternum itself). Would help him provide for that big-ass family of his (not to mention it sounds better than being CEO to a sinister megacorp that profits from the dead and the gullible).
I'd imagine software companies aren't asking for his resume because there's a difference between showing marketable skills and showing academic potential. Getting into a private high school on the back of a game he developed is proof they don't think he's too inept to educate, doesn't mean companies see him as adept enough to hire.One quite important detail that Cari hasn't touched yet is how good Orion is with computers and coding. One of the very first things he tells us is that Orion got the scholarship because he made his own videogame. That is NEVER brought back! Why is he not making games or software? Why are software companies not asking for his resume?
C/o sexypeanut from Cari's Discord:That makes me wonder: How much time has passed since Orion arrived at Kredon, until the current end of 0.7.5? A few Months at best? I didn't really pay attention to the time elapsed while reading (too busy staring at pringle cans)
We don't see him really spend much time on his academics, just a bit in the beginning, and mostly just as a plot device to get more screen time with the girls (like Alex).

between August 22nd, 2023 (0.6 public release) to March 24th, 2024 (0.7 demon lord release), there were 6 months and 28 days.This isn't another complaint, but just curious - how many months after 0.6 did 0.7 drop? Doesn't really feel all that much longer to me.
I don't recall that one exactly, all I can say is that yes, previous ones were faster. Still many were baffled due to how fast it was, taking into account the amount of content and it's quality, and even his fans asked him to not burnout himself.This isn't another complaint, but just curious - how many months after 0.6 did 0.7 drop?
