I don't see you how you can say there is an emphasis on "or else other men are gonna fuck your girl" because that doesn't happen and isn't implied.
to play devils advocate it is kind of heavily implied during the stanley parabole dream sequence. Alex is married, penny is dating celebrity, Dalia is married to Jerry... its hard to argue that this scene does not at least imply it. (though i could see how someone could play devil advocate and argue that it doesnt happen as i would be all over that if its needed :D its just the "implied" part that i disagree with)

And this is why I believe Orion won’t end up sleeping with any maid in Hyril’ar. Even if none of the girls are there to know what he’s doing—except maybe Calypso—he himself would feel guilty. I mean, he told that vendor/therapist in the Valley of Kings realm that he wants his relationship with the girls to work. So going off and hooking up with a random maid in a distant realm while all his girls are freaking out with worry over whether he’s even alive seems completely counterintuitive.

No, in 9.0 we are shooting past the damn maids and making it straight to their Princess!
I dont know call me a crackhead, but based on this conversation, I'd put my guess as Caly does get a scene where she has Orion *test* with a maid, but she's there and watching. At some point, she joins in in some capacity.

Pretty what? I couldn't disagree more. While Eternum overall is one of the best VNs out there, the office scene is one of the worst parts I've seen across all VNs. And I am a Stanley Parable fan...but that scene is the total opposite of Stanley Parable that looks like it was made by someone who didn't understand what made the Stanley Parable good. Horrid narrator, bad story for the part, etc. The sad part is that is was probably the most expensive part of the game too since they probably paid for the voice acting, even though is was bad, so at this point it's probably sunk cost fallacy where it was too expensive to throw away even though it makes the game worse.
I loved that scene. Never heard of Stanley Parable before but I thought the narrator was great, and it was the perfect length, some repetition, but each time there was something new. Plus Dalia

do you think it will happen in next patch or how/why do you think they will get back to her world again? also do you think calypso will stay in her world starting next update as she has no interest in eternum and this whole time all she wanted was to get back which now allegedly they did in the cliffhanger?
I think she will get a scene, not go all the way tho. Being in and escaping a genuine life and death situation will most likely make them closer and it'll develop from there

Doubt she will just remain there without interacting with Orion and gang so soon at 60% story mark. If nothing dark happens then she'll likely remain there while establishing a portal between her world and Orion's so she continues her interest to explore new things in different worlds and to also "return the favour". But if something dark happens (most probably) like how the old syndicate dude mentioned Hyr'liar being part of the dark cycle Orion needs to break or Thanatos arriving then maybe Orion will be forced to take Calypso and escape to his world. Another possibility is that she gets caught doing stuff with Orion and gets banished lmao

As for how he returns then idk, maybe Calypso has now unlocked the secret to traverse complete separate realities like how she found her world or Orion's powers will evolve again

That's interesting, I do wonder what path Caly will go on now. She achieved her goal of reaching her home world. Will she return to Eternum to aid Orion in his quest? Will she seek revenge on the Founder? Will she just stay in her world and ignore the rest of the world now she is safe? Will she command her elven forces to fight?

Or maybe trouble follows her home in the form of a certain no-life samurai and she is forced to flee with Orion to safer havens?

People have different opinions, so assuming the only reason why that whole scene wasn't promptly deleted before public release is because its a "sunk cost" is absolutely crazy. Personally, I thought the scene and the narrator were good, even if it was something new for Eternum.

I actually really really liked the London office narrator scene. I felt it was original and an interesting break of pace.

as people bringing the "office" scene back as a hot topic i just wanna say that after letting emotions cool down and everything, i really enjoy what the scene was representing and the underlined narrative of it. I still think it was bold move to make this exposition through itteration of stanley parabole but given that its supposed to be magically induced nightmare, i dont hate it :D
after thinking about it for past weeks on ocasion i like it more than i have issues with it

The Stanley Parable scene, if anything made me want to play that game again. I´ve played a little bit a few years ago and it was fun.

What would also be fun is if that was the ending for those that didn´t get the harem ending. Even if you missed just one girl, the screen would turn black and then you´d see "Ten Years After" and that´s what you get.

the office scene was one of the best parts of the update for real, got me really worried until I understood what was going on, it really makes you value more the things you have because you can lose them if you fail

It was also a bit of a meta joke considering that the choices are probably the aspect of Eternum that can genuinely be criticized the most in my opinion. :HideThePain:

Is there a way to download only the update or you have to download the whole game again and just copy paste your save?

so much elf thirst happening right now XD
I'm really thirsty for some Calypso content, one of the reasons I was a little disappointed with this update was that we didn't get a scene with her, well that and Orion's stupid choices that didn't make sense to me but anyway, when I read that we would have 4 scenes in the update I was starting to hope that the 4th scene would be with her and then when we had the preview with her in the bar I was absolutely sure but in the end we had nothing... well, at least I think she'll be the focus in the next update, so in the end it all just made me more eager for some content with her.
