yes but they still finished the game properly and not only that, there is multiple endings (although yes harem ending with stabby being pilot is the best ending) and story resolved itself properly. what part of it was rushed? what remained unresolved? what subplot feels like it got dropped? its been years since i read OiaLt so maybe im forgetting things but the ending felts well done

I agree that the game has a proper end that feels substantial and gives closure. That nonwithstanding, the "epilogue" did feel a bit rushed in the sense that it was just a bunch of stills from which you had to build the story of what happened afterwards. A proper scene to bring a more relaxed close to the story would've been nice. But I'm not bashing on the ending, OiaLT had a proper end, and even if rushed it was good.

I love the references and comedy in this game so far. Also I checked the gallery and it seems their is not much sex scenes available . HAs the dev said anything about including more scenes in future.

Personally I thought the canon ending was okay but I agree that there were aspects about it that felt "rushed."
-Harem development felt rushed considering that the girls seemingly accepted their part in it rather quickly (also the fact that them finding out about it likely happened offscreen during the plane ride). Compare that to Eternum where the harem development is a lot better since Orion himself openly acknowledges that he is in love with them if following the harem route and the girls are being developed into a sisterhood of sorts with Nan acting as the self-appointed den mother of the group
-The fight against the BBEG happened all too quickly. No epic struggle or anything like that, just the MC and Mike going to final lair, Mike sacrificing himself, MC uses his powers as clutch, BOOM. Done.
Other than those, yeah...ending was cool.

No, I disagree, sorry. I think if the story is forgetting subplots and leaving questions unanswered, that is not a preference. I think it is charitable to call it incomplete, which tends to happen when the story is rushed, and it is completely worthy of fair criticism.
This also goes back to a point I made earlier regarding the story feeling directionless. All these subplots and questions keep getting added in each update, but none of them ever get completed or answered. Eventually, you'll reach a point where six years of development and 13 updates get wrapped up in one update you can play in one sitting, which makes it feel rushed.
It's an issue with the medium of AVN production, but not unavoidable. Spreading it out more would help with pacing, for example, if Cari were to have a steady flow of subplots finishing constantly, or to start closing plotlines from update 12 onwards.

agree to disagree then. i dont think its wrong to feel the way you do, that everything needs an answer, everything needs resolution... so i am not gonna argue against it. But i will point out that adding stuff to story to give the feeling of life going on and exist outside MCs inner group and showing that life does not gravitate around MC and peoples lives continue with or without mc's involvement is also a proper writing technique.

This game should never end, its so fucking good. I gave up 2 months ago thinking that i can control not playing it till game fully ends. But caved in 4 days ago and finally finished it. Even playing other games in meanwhile didn't help, the pull this game has over me is unmatchable. I'm glad I played Once in a Lifetime before this, references are spot on. Just like a lot of IRL movies and TV series.

Yes, I agree with that assessment. I am more than happy for worldbuilding to occur, but I guess it depends on how it is being used. It depends on whether you are merely adding stuff or asking questions.
For example, if the Alien invasion was merely used as a catalyst for MC's subplots to occur (the date with Annie, the killing contest, the rescue with Dalia, etc.) and remained as an unanswered phenomenon, that would be more than fine so long as it was treated as such. On the other hand, if the questions of how it is started have already begun being explored, as it has done with figures like Hassler and Dr Mercer, then they should be answered by the end - especially if it gives the MC choices to make (like choosing to kill Dr Mercer in 0.8).
If the questions you are asking are used in such a way that leave people wanting answers, then they should have answers.
If, by the end of the story, Cari doesn't tell us who Idriel is, that the Gems of Doom do, how Thanatos lives in Eternum despite being dead and not realising, then I would fairly consider that incomplete. If he doesn't give us a backstory on Chop-Cop and explain how he always runs into MC on every server, that is fine because worldbuilding is designed to be a mystery.
Either way, I think the feelings of a rushed finale have more to do with the format of AVNs than not closing plot points. Leaving everything to the final update to be resolved is what gives a rushed feeling when the production schedule is spread out over many years.
