One thing that makes me curious is why there aren't populations like on Earth in the servers. The only inhabited worlds seem to be just Earth and the elven world, as narrated in Calypso's story.
Perhaps there is one on Andromeda, on the Station when we were on a date with Annie, a monster (referring to the movie The Alien), a life form was present even though it was specified that it was neither Ulysses, nor the Founder, nor a scientist who created it.

It's true. Then there are also the skeletons. But maybe they're NPCs that have changed? I don't know. The theory of the astral plane makes sense, but then I think about Orion's ability. If the plane is astral, how can he enter it with his real body?
But even here, a thousand possibilities come into play. The only difference I notice, and it's the most relevant in my opinion, is the lack of populations between the servers and Earth and the elven world, which in the past was populated by both humans and elves.
But after listening to the conversations between Orion and Calypso, it seems that there are no more humans in her world, since the young elf ends up mistaking him for a monkey? (I don't remember well.)
It can be deduced that either the two peoples no longer have contact, or the humans for some reason are no longer in her world. (Maybe they went to Earth, which as you said could be another server?) Here your theory could find confirmation.

Was this from today? On one hand it is great to have such a big update, on the other I don't want to wait until January.
At worst it'll slip to December for highest Patreon tier (tho I'm still holding out hope for a November release). And given how many people will be frothing in the mouth due to Eternum withdrawals by then, the leak will likely be swift.

If Cari put out updates with 5 minutes of playtime every month or so people would complain they are to short there will always be complainers or people crying about milking. Generally, for the amount of material we get with each progressive update I, and many others, have no issue with the wait time. The story, graphics and sex scene's are amazing.

I wonder how many of the people that complain (regardless of which game they are referencing) pay any amount or if they are all just pirating the games they complain about. In my experience, almost ALL the people complaining about milking the player base are just waiting for the public releases or leaked versions anyhow. Eternum is my #1 game yes, and for me it deserves that spot due to quality of story telling and the artistry of it. Of course everyone would love short turn arounds but what would the cost be for that. I, personally, would rather wait for the quality Cari always delivers than to have the game suffer (as many inevitable do) but rushing the story. But hey, what do I know.

I'm sure there are plenty I'm not tracking, but there's only one dev I've encountered that puts out updates monthly: ILS Productions (currently working on TOXICity). They're more than 5 minutes, but they are pretty short compared to Eternum, Ripples, etc. The folks on that thread don't seem to mind, but it's also a much smaller world.

For myself, I'm not inclined to complain about what I get for free.

I'm not in a position where I can afford to fund every game I like on F95, but if I could, I would definitely do so for this game.

I don't play Renpy games very often because I prefer Unity and Unreal Engine games, but I have to say that this game is one of the best I've played.

I still prefer it when he takes his time to make quality updates.

So far, I haven't seen any bugs or technical issues, except for the French translation.

The real problem, in my opinion, is that it's impossible to chat on Discord if you're not a Patreon subscriber. This greatly hinders contribution to the story or its community, as not all of us can afford to pay.
