I can name a few decent guys of the top of my hat
Chang, Mr. Hernandez, Noah, Raul, Mr. Keeting, Novas Dad, the Russian Gym guy
but on the other hand you have guys Benjamin, Axel, the Gym Boxer Douche, the Yoga Douche, Jerry (at least at the beginning, he did grow on me) etc.
so the decent guys are either taken or too old to have any relationship with most of the girls
and Penny said something along the lines that she had a boyfriend but it quickly ended and she decided to focus on her modeling carrier after that
while I can't say if her relationship development is realistic or not, at the very least it's serviceable
there is a development happening from the initial "yes, the kid that mom once did babysit" to "yeah, the guy who supports my carrier, is nice, charming, helpful and fun to be around with"
it's definitely not the worst relationship in an AVN I have seen
and obviously still a better love story than twillight ...do people still say that in almost '26?

I honestly wouldn't give a crap if both Alex and Penny weren't virgins before meeting and having sex with Orion. They had their life before the start of the story; one didn't knew he existed and the other one hadn't seen him for years and both (Orion and Penny) were too young to be thinking about that. The girls could have met other people and have sex with them, but things didn't worked out of just did it as a one-time thing, just like it happens IRL. That doesn't take away the appeal and value from them from my POV (unlike some strange fans, who seem to think that once they discover a LI had her cherry popped by another guy before the MC came to her life).

Looks like I'm one of these "strange fans". Knowing that one of the main girls is not a virgin is enough for me to drop the game or ignore the girl in romantic way at all. That's my kink and I play these games for such unrealistic scenarios. I didn't play 0.8.6 and maybe one of the girls openly says to MC that she's not a virgin in this version but as long as it's not stated openly it's enough for me to convince myself that she's only used dildos before and it's fine.
0.8 took me 7 hours at least idk what they are talking about
So if it took you 7 hours everyone else must have the same experience?

I don't think that is what he means, I remember when I played the last update I really wanted to enjoy the game, to read every dialogue, to understand the jokes, remember previous events, a game as good as this one I think it deserves the time to be enjoyed, so IN MY CASE, it took me more than a single night to finish the update, but not just playing it for the quick fap but to enjoy the immersion
I'm not a speed reader but I can easily read a 300-500 page book in 1 sitting. Not a 1000 page book though. I find that how fast I read depends on how often I read. If I've been too busy to read for a long time I slow down. If I've been reading a lot I speed up. Obviously code is a bit different since code is not all dialog/story. There's logic/game mechanics in there that the user doesn't necessarily ever see directly.
So 20k lines of code might be more like 5-10k lines of dialog and the other half game mechanics. But from a dev standpoint the logic/game mechanics are probably harder to write than the dialog. So I would argue that writing 20k lines of code is probably harder than writing 20k lines of a book. For a game you have to switch back and forth between thinking about the story and dialog vs thinking about logic and game mechanics. For a book it's just all story.

Guys how many times have you all replayed this game? No cap. Me personally---- 2 times... one of them is because I just played till 0.6 without saving once... and didn't even know what AUTOSAVE was...

Three times "full" but i have replayed and jumped around a lot with saves in order to see unique lines of dialogue.
I have discovered the game on 0.7 and then did full replay before 0.8 and just finished another one right now before 0.9
Speaking of updates, Chang. Do you guys think we will get information about how his relationship with Michaela is progressing this update?

3 times, but only because the first time i somehow didn't go full harem mode. The 2nd time was to fix my error, the 3rd time was just me being thirsty
