This game is perhaps the greatest NSFW game I've ever seen. I have paid for worse triple A games than this. It's fucking hilarious, laugh after laugh, with genuinely good story telling. It's basically a r18 version of ready player one with some conspiracy shit wrapped in on top. I can't wait to see more of this.

PS, anyone know why Dalia is suddenly locked out for me? I didn't do anything to piss her off but she's greyed out. I even picked her over Alex.

If you like that kind of game you should definitely play Once in a lifetime, same style, great story. Also, if you are willing to try a game with less humor and more Drama, Depraved Awakening is a masterpiece. Not the same dev tho.

I'm actually playing it right now myself too. And I have to admit, I'm a little bit scared of the fate of Eternum, regarding of its ".originality "
having a familiar Style of both game is one thing, you recognize the creator "style". But straight up doing the same thing is a bit of let down, okay, I'm only at chapter 5, or version 0.5 , but.
Nancy, is definitely, a Carla 2.0 version. They have a very similar, "oral sex " scene too. Judie and Annie once again very similar scene, I assume then, the Next Annie scene will be a handjob/Blowjob.like we had with Judie I guess, we gonna have Massage scene too, with either Dalia, or Alex , may be apply sunscreen on Dalia or something?! .
I'm not there, yet, but who know it might have a Nova too, in Once in a lifetime.

I hope the 2 game will deviate a bit more from each other, similar style should not mean, that it's just more of the same.

Just my brief observation, so far.

You're pointing out similarities in character archetypes which doesn't necessarily correlate with the story plot. Carla/Nancy is the maternal figure, Judie/Annie is the younger "sister", and Jasmine/Alex is the mean popular girl, Aiko/Nova is the weird girl. Play any game on this website and you're almost certainly going to find one if not all of these characters in it. Also, sex scenes in lots of games (not all) follow the progression of handjob->blowjob->sex since it's just a natural way of building sexual tension between characters.

You aren't going to have to worry about Once in a Lifetime spoiling Eternum.

Well shit, I think I have discovered my "type" of girl in these games. Both are my favourites in their respective titles.
But whatever, as zerdeca said above, all AVNs are similar in some points and will feature similar characters.
It's the journey, not the destination.

What are you talking about, man?
Nancy and Clara are similar in that they are both 'The older woman' and they both have some guilt towards their feelings, but they act very differently from one another. For one Clara basically gets tricked into things by the mc while Nancy is the one largely taking the Initiative.
Judie is the younger sister, Annie is the childhood friend. There's some similarities in that they are both open but hesitatent when it comes to a relationship with mc but it's both for very different reasons and I don't see how they are otherwise the same.
Dalia and Lauren are both physicaly active and you could very broadly say they are both 'The more reluctant one', but again aside from that they are very different.
Same goes for Jasmine and Alex.

None of these really fit as well as you are saying they do. At most eternum uses some similar character archetypes, but the characters themselves aren't the same at all and I don't see any real story similarities at all.

This is like saying that Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings are the same, because they both have an old wizard acting as mentor and guide, a best friend who accompanies the hero on his journey and who the hero at some point has a temporary falling out with and a dead evil overlord who is trying to get revived.
