Yeah, but the point is that the language is the one his father has, meaning that if she would know how to speak spanish, it should be with his father's accent.

How do you plan to give her a mexican accent in written form? Apart from that, as she has lived there her entire life, I don't think she would speak any different from the rest.
Subtle variations of the speech and different vocabulary. Although I've decided to leave her alone, I'll only give the accent to her dad.

Or you could just let her have some slip of the tongue ( no pun intended) in particular situations where she's really embarrassed, maybe.
For Mr Hernandez the accent is a must imho, I would play the spanish version just for that with Chop Chop and Chang he's one of the most memorable males characters in the game.

It is said anywhere in the game that her father is mexican? If it's for his last name he could be from any spanish speaking country. I thought he was from spain.

Luna said her father and her family relatives were going to celebrate Dia de los Muertos sometime later (the sneak peeks also show her in a Calavera Catrina costume), and in a message conversation her father specifically asks how the protagonist would like to eat tacos. If extra spicy is answered Mr. Hernandez says "AHH THAT'S MY MAN! YOU'RE GONNA MAKE MEXICO PROUD! IT MIGHT NOT SEEM LIKE IT BUT LUNA LOVES SPICY FOOD TOO!" (The caps were in the conversation btw).
