Fuck this game is magnificent. I reached the end and I've got so many questions...
Is Thanatos an NPC?
Are the NPCs actually People with chips implanted in them?
Is Eternum not a video game but somehow a way to visit alternate dimensions, and universes?
What is up with the Founder?
Oh man, and who was that dude that the MC ditched at the party? (I gotta be honest, that frustrated me but at the same time... I like it, makes things more mysterious.)
Where the Hell is Former President Stabby?
MC is a liar pants on fire, saying he hadn't done anything naughty in the real world... I'm sorry but you've thigh fucked two women already. You've done naughty shit in the real world. I never finished Once Upon a Time but now I wonder how that MC managed to convince his harem to be a harem... I'm curious how the Eternum MC is gonna do it, feel like Luna and Annie might be the hardest sell. This is funny considering that Nancy, Dalia and Penny are related but Nancy sounds like she'd be into it from how she spoke to the Yoga Instructor and she's definitely a Nympho, so her urges would supersede any icky feeling of sharing a man with her daughters... Penny seems to have inherited more than their breast size from Nancy. Dalia's a mystery but I think she'd be into it. Guess we'll see.

How can three words that honestly mean nothing, mean so much in the game...
The same for "Help Us"
Hmmm... At first, I thought the MC was like the Founder, I thought hey... Time Travel Shenanigans... Especially with that 100% Compatibility thing. After all, he had visions of Eternum BEFORE he was chipped, hell those scenes made me question if MC's reality was all a lie and that this game was all about him finding out that he needed to escape but now, maybe there are some magic shenanigans where he's supposed to be some kind of chosen one or something... I mean, that could explain how he somehow has to cheat code powers of never dying and super speed and super reflexes. That shit ain't 'magic' that's just being a Neo.
Either way, this game is fuckin amazing... Humour matches mine, the story is compelling and fuck are the scenes hot as hell.
I think aside from this and Unbroken... They're the only ones to give me that perfect balance of Story vs Lewd... No, in fact, this game is doing a great job balancing the two. You care about the people, you are curious about the story and the MC is likeable enough, even if sometimes I go "God, he is not very good looking" but nah he's starting to grow on me.

I never comment on here and usually just lurk around, but just wanted to say Eternum is such an amazing little gem of VNs, i love it! But ffs why did he have to make all the main girls so damn good to the point that I would never be able to choose between any of them. Can't believe i'm saying this but thank god this is a Harem game, i'm usually not a big fan of those styles of VNs but I wouldn't want to even imagine trying to reject anyone at the end in Eternum, so this is the only exception. In all seriousness tho, the writing is great, captivating and hilarious which is rare for VNs imo.
Great update too! Even if i needed more Dalia (but i assume she will be more prominent in the next update so thats perfectly fine).
Plus its awesome that it takes only 4-5 months per updates cause i don't have to sit and dread whether or not the game/story will be actually completed in the future, unlike some other VNs that goes nowhere.

Is there a way to find out which track is playing during a scene? Like maybe in the renpy console or something? There is so much lovely music in this wonderful VN, I'd love to find out which song is which.

The games are in the same universe, but also probably easter eggs (as of now, at least), since there's multiple endings to OIAL.

Maybe they think that the number of different paths that it's possible to take make it more of a game than a visual novel?

Are there? I'm playing it for the first time right now and while the art is pretty good and the writing is great, it doesn't seem to have a lot of actual choices. Most of the time there are like an obvious good choice and an obvious bad one?! I guess you can deliberately drop some of the paths if you want, but why would you do that?

Well there are people(whotfdoesthis) who let them go so that might be the case. And im guessing multiple endings according to the path we take. Although, like I said, nobody would leave anybody out, right? RIGHT!?

That is asinine. Eternum is NOT a sandbox game, it is a VN with free-roam elements.
This is liable to put off potential new players who dislike sandbox games; people who might not even open the thread now.

I mean...I'm in the middle of 0.5 right now and I guess at some point all those different relations have to blow up into the MC's face?! Or at the very least you have to decide for one before the end? Maybe I should play Once in a Lifetime at some point to see how it was done there...

Well the harem ending was the canon one in OIAL, and I think it will be the same for Eternum too.
I just hope here the harem will be managed better than in OIAL where it was more like a "hey we are sharing MC, cool I'm in" way without a realistic confront between them ( if we exclude the hotel scene with Lauren and Judie, that was really poor in this regard).

Honestly, I wouldn't mind it if there was a bit more reality "hurt feelings" kind of thing, a bit of conflict between the LIs, so long as it resolved nicely in a harem. I'm sure of anyone Carib could pull off something realistic
