Correct me if I'm wrong, but I assumed the correct path in this game is harem so I should just pick all the obvious choices that leads to hearing the heart beating sound instead of focusing on any specific heroine?

Harem is "canon" path, and given how Cari is creating his games, non-harem playthgroughs can lose some important stuff, so harem with Nova on top is the way to go

Maybe it's deliberately NOT connected to the net to prevent hacking and thus needs to be accessed on-site? Also Nan dragging Orion to her office seems to be rushed, so they didn't had the time to drag Nova into it.
