Okay so, let me get this straight. We had the option to take the bride of the abuser or kill him. No third alternative saying, escort criminal to praetorians and claiming the price? Those Praetorians could have excommunicated him, killing him in real life solving Alexs' dilemma and potentially earned us a nifty reward. Honestly, I am really disappointed right now. In addition to what Dorfnutter said, it also seems to me that Orion (MC) has a healthy paranoia and fear of the praetorians. Understandably so. Getting the praetorians involved there also has the potential of getting himself, Alex, Calypso and even Dalia caught up in trouble with them.
