He's been harping the same sentiment even before Eternum dropped its first chapter tho.
Like, he's willing to change typos and dialogue and retcon some stuff in the early game script if it didn't age well (i.e. changing Twitter to X, retconning Penny's backstory as a freshman in college to age her up). But ask him to remake renders and he'll probably give you the stink eye or something.
Caribdis is 100% right on that point. I hate it when devs decide to redo earlier portions of a game before they actually finish it. If I'm already invested in a story, I definitely do not need time devoted to a remaster/remake of early chapters until well after I see a resolution of the main plot. I can think of a couple big games that got into the weeds on remaking the early part of the game and have now gone years without a meaningful update to the main story. So disappointing.
That said, I thankfully have no fear of that happening to this title.

Was just using the calendar to make it clear how the December events line up with Cari's earlier statement for 0.8. Though even without it, the fact that Orion stated back at the bus stop in 0.6 that Christmas is closing in and teased those events make it highly likely that they're going to be utilized. Especially since...
Edit: The only exception being if he debunks it himself, such as the idea that the Collector artifact will be used in the main story.

You know thinking about it more I think you’re right. For the FIRST Anal scene in the game I think Nancy probably takes it. She’s already had her vaginal scene, whereas Dalia and some of the other top bets haven’t yet. Plus Nacy was the only non virgin in the game so this could be a fun little “oh you didn’t get my virginity but you got my other virginity” thing.
And apparently all the dialogue in the game has intention...maybe this is foreshadowing (the picture):
