I know that. I also understand that the MC is respectful to the women, unlike many other adult games. I didn't speak for the MC's point of view, I spoke about the player's view. Let's be frank, while we all (mostly) love the game due the story, most also see the girls as pieces of meat (it's fantasy after all, not real life). While Caribdis is an outstanding dev, and his game is stellar, let's not ignore that the game also grew in appeal due it's adult content.Feminism is emancipation. Emancipation is freedom of choice. All the girls in eternum only do a thing if they like it and Orion (devs voice to a degree) thinks its awesome that they can do whatever they want. Anti-feminist would be the position that a woman should not be free to do whatever she wants, but that a man (husband, father, etc.) has say over her life (like forbidding penelope for example to post sexual bikini pics on instagram, or Lunas father having say over if she can just bang Orion or if he needs to marry her first). Being part of a harem is feminist if she is because she wants to be, and it's anti-feminist if she is forced to be.
Thats how I would define it in the broadest sense, the core of feminism. Not sure what people think of nowadays when they hear feminism...
I don't think Orion ever takes authority over any of the girls decisions. But I'm oly at the heist.
As much as I like Caribdis approach in terms of how women are treated in general in his games, this isn't a lovey-dovey game at most. The girls assets are exceptionally drawn to please the player, besides their personality.
I'm not trying to disdain your argument btw, what you said about feminism in real life it's still true (and I've studied feminism at university btw), and it's true that the game is much more respectful to women than comparing to other games in the same genre, but in the end, the game also has the objective to please the player with the girls. It's a bit as fan service in anime, the MC can be extremely nice to the female characters in anime, but that doesn't mean there isn't some objectification because it sells, it that comparison makes any sense to you, to see what I was trying to say.
