Exactly! This entire page has shocked me. I've only ever seen people praise Orion Richards as a protagonist, for the same reason people here seem to be criticizing him. I always liked how down-to-Earth, and reasonable Orion is, and how he's just a genuinely level-headed, courteous, reasonable guy. He's may be a fictional character, but the dude is an inspiration for me. Same goes for Kei Hahn (his last name isn't confirmed but I have reasons to believe it's Hahn) from My Bully is My Lover for similar reasons. We don't talk about Kei Dietrich from Sicae, though. That guy can go to hell.

Honestly I don't know what the people here are on about. Orion is a good guy, and I can't believe there's people who don't like him for that.

And that's another thing I like about Orion! He's not a perfect, flawless, invincible hero either. He's human, and he has lessons to learn, and mistakes to improve from. He has depth, and he has things keeping him in place. Caribdis made the right choice having that happen to Orion. It gave him a lesson more AVN protagonists ought to learn. Once again, Orion Richards and Kei Hahn are some of the only AVN protagonists I genuinely admire, because they're written to be actually good dudes. Y'know?

I wouldn't call Orion a genuinely good guy tho. Man is an absolute horndog and has some streaks of arrogance that blew in his face at the end of 0.7. Only after that did he got humbled, though IMO that arrogance hasn't fully faded away and it will prolly take some time before he grows out of it.

Also Sicae Kei > MBML Kei. Can't stand the latter, tbh. Then again I always consider Sicae to be superior to MBML in almost every aspect save for the LI department.

I was starting to really dislike him, and that showed he was going through a character arc instead of being poorly written. It made me appreciate Caribdis' writing, and like Orion way more than if he had just been a flat character.
