the MC has confessed his love to all the girls except Luna and Penny so definitely can expect their scenes
I don´t know if that will be necessary for the scene to happen, I don´t remember if he said it to the other girls right before having sex with them.
I wonder how the Luna scene will be set up. Will it be a date like Annie? Is Orion visiting her and it just happens?

caly is a virgin, too
Yes, but all the girls had some action (teasing or oral) before having actual sex. So far Caly has the teasing scene, so I assume this one will be oral. Step by step, you know?

That threesome would be a perfect place to add anal. Dalia was made for it!
It would be and I would love whoever was chosen for it, but I don´t think it will happen yet. And if it does, I think Alex is the bigger candidate, seeing as Dalia has only just lost her virginity and I don´t think she would go for anal on her second time. But who knows? I would love to see it. We all would, I´m sure.

I don't understand Alex's character tbh, many millions of people would kill to be the child of a multi-billionaire no matter how much of an abusive psycho he is. Take Tiffany from Superhuman, she understands her privilege and is....or was willing to marry a guy she didn't like at all. If Alex had waited only like 10 years before she started rebelling, she could have used the money and connections to build herself up and then distance herself from the family

...and many others wouldn't, though for almost all of them (on both sides) it's purely hypothetical. But to borrow a line from Mr. Spock, people often find that having is not nearly as enjoyable as wanting. However much money he may have, Alex rightly sees that William is an awful person (to her and everyone else), and wants out. I don't blame her for it--while "stay, enjoy the privilege, wait to rebel until you're a safe distance away" might be a reasonable course of action, it carries with it at least some compromise. And for that matter, so does the course she chose; if less so.

Did she have to do it the way she did? No, but neither was she crazy to do so.

I mean, being an abusive psycho is not just the only thing Alex knows that her father is guilty of. Or are we forgetting that he condones a lot of shady shit that Ulysses is doing such as excommunications? Stuff that Alex is aware of as she had mentioned back in Ogygia?

Also, you really want Alex to get in bed with the very guys who are currently exploiting Eternum for their own selfish purposes? Coz that's what's likely gonna happen if she just "grins and bears" it. Not to mention that the harem will likely not be welcoming to a woman who is willing to tolerate Ulysses' actions even though she has a plan to distance herself from them later.

I mean in the context of her character long before meeting the MC, not in the way the plot of this story is destined to play out

Yep. If Alex went along with her father and acted like a female version of Axel (which is the only way William would probably accept her) I don't see Orion being in any kind of positive relationship with her. Let alone any of the other girls in the harem.

Alex rebelling against William is the only reasonable way making her a love interest in this game works at all.

Even so--yes, she could have handled it differently, and I probably wouldn't blame her for doing so. But the route she chose (which, as you note, was already in place before she met MC)--namely, "I'm getting out as soon as I can afford a place to live, no matter how much of a shithole it may be"--would be easily in the realm of "reasonable" with a far-less-awful father than she had. Particularly when she's made it with her eyes open--she knows what she's giving up, and is willing to pay the price.

That's what I said tho? You really want her to be deep into Ulysses by the time we meet her in the beginning of the game and thus could lead her to be a lot more resistant to the idea of Orion and co "rocking the boat" because it will make all her sacrifices to her pride and not embracing her need for freedom to be all for naught?

I don't see how this is a "side thing" when there's a lot of hints throughout the main story that basically reference some sort of loop or prescience related to it (i.e. the Syndicate member who said "we have seen it, we have tried," Idriel saying "this time, it'll be the right one" as her parting words to Orion before his first entry to Ion, the game's logo being an infinity symbol, the Founder's chest tattoo being an Ouroboros). Whether it's a straight time loop or a reincarnation loop is still up in the air, however.

Also, I disagree with cycles being an Eastern thing. The Greeks (more specifically the Stoics) have a concept of "eternal recurrence," where the universe dies after a certain point but is reborn as the same universe over and over. And in case you haven't noticed, the entire VN has a lot of Greek references to it (i.e. presence of oracle figures like Idriel and Luna, the default name being Orion and his character development referencing a lot from his mythological counterpart, Penelope and Calypso and Ogygia and Ulysses being references to characters and places in "The Odyssey," Thanatos being a reference to the Greek's version of Death, Psyche (and its latin counterpart Anima) who is a reference to the Greek Goddess of the Soul, the Greek rivers of the dead Styx and Acheron being referenced as a server and a temple respectively). So Cari utilizing another Greek concept in the game wouldn't be out of the ordinary.

Also for the record, he's Spanish.
Well the question is whether the time loop is a plot device or the central theme. Iirc we don't know if we're talking about the same people having tried it before or other people having tried it before. Again, I might be forgetting stuff, but I think there's nothing saying previous "tries" have been Orion still? Or whether we're talking other heroes who have tried and been corrupted or failed.

All the eternum/infinity stuff could easily just be a reference to the fact we're talking about the underworld and death after life. Yes there's a lot of overlap with greek mythology, but it's not so direct. You gotta remember, cari likes to keep it short and sweet. His games don't have mountains of teasing, they progress at a pretty steady pace, not too many choices, not too little. So I doubt we'll get an extremely deep, weird, confusing ending or timey-wimey stuff.

William is divorcing their mother and leaving them with nothing. No doubt Alex rebelling didn't help with this, but I doubt it was the main cause of it.

So unless she was actively kissing his ass to stay in his good graces even after the divorce she'd be where she's at right now anyway. And an Alex who'd be willing to bow down and obey her father for a chance to inherit his wealth wouldn't be working with Orion. Even if she tried to help Orion covertly the jig would be up pretty fast because William knows an awful lot about Orion and his crew. As soon as Alex helped Orion free Calypso, William would know she was working against him and probably force her to either work as his agent inside Orions group or cut her off.

That's not what you said tho? You said you doubt Cari is gonna put concepts of a loop or cycle/s front and center to the main plot despite evidence and hints to the contrary. Of course it's not going to be a deep philosophical dive as this is written by Cari not Monolithsoft, but something along the lines of "there used to be a cycle that the dead are trapped in and now there isn't thanks to your actions" is simple enough direction for Cari to work with.

Putting adult motivations on behaviour stemming from childhood, would cause a lot of "misunderstanding" in general - not just with Eternum's Alex.

Because she's not cut from the same cloth the rest of her family is. She had a good influence from her grandma and after her death she was mature enough tonl understand that what her parents and brother do isn't good.

She doesn't want anything with them because she despises what they are and and represent. She doesn't like to be controlled, to be paraded, to be used, to be a tool - she wants to be a human being with her own voice and decisions. You cannot do that if you live like the Bardots.

Alex does understand the privilege of being born in a rich as fuck family, but the abuse she suffered wasn't compensating for that. For her, all the money and power the Bardots have are nothing compared to her freedom and to be herself.

She doesn't want to be a beautiful bird in a gilded cage - she wants to roam free and enjoy the little things life can offer. She's not the 'I'll concoct plans upon plans to get my revenge on this shitty family in X years' type, she's the 'I wnat to get away from this shitty family that wants to make me a puppet and force me to be a porcelain doll' type.

Imagine having to live 20 years like that.
