You asked why people are going after you. I am merely trying to answer your question. Your very statement that you are more "sophisticated" than others likely set several people off. Perception is reality, and on the internet, such statements can be misconstrued regardless of intent. Saying you are more sophisticated than others is like saying your wants and desires are better than others. Many people try that tactic to draw others out and get attention in lengthy arguments. If you had simply stated, "I wish there was a good scene or two of one of the ladies on her knees begging for a facial." there would likely have been little blowback.

If you're not into it, you're just not into it. Eternum it's simply not for you. This is more about the difference in the kinks you're into VS the ones Caribdis and his fans have. For what the game is trying to be, IMO it's very good. I think it's safe to assume that most who participate in a thread for a game, do so because they like that game (though not necessarily because it's "their favorite game"). It's a valid criticism that a game does a bad job at what it's trying to do (which does not at all apply to Eternum); it isn't a valid criticism that it isn't trying to do what you want it to do. You don't criticize Columbus for not discovering Australia.

So this isn't to your taste--well and good; nobody's forcing you to play it. Find one that is.

Geographically closer, yes, but still not very close. OTOH, there are spices (the main reason for his expedition, even if not the ones he was looking for) in the Caribbean, and none that I know of native to Australia.

Few months ago he had to change several of the songs in the soundtrack for copyright reasons, that's what 8.6 is about. No new content.
