Whenever I see Eternum drops an update 10minutes ago, I already see people here talking about how good it was.

Do people do that? Don't read any of the dialogue and just watch the scenes?
Just started the game. For the quiz at Luna's father's shop, is the Mel Gibson question a bug or done on purpose? Because his middle name was not listed in the answers.

Can't get this game to run properly for some reason. After downloading and extracting the game, I try to start up the exe file. I get the loading box with the Eternum logo. After it finishes loading, the game opens in windowed mode to a black screen. I can hear the sound of the startup animation, and eventually I can hear what sounds like menu options when I hover my mouse over different parts of the window, but I can't see anything at all. I've tried doing a fresh install several times now, using different download links, updating drivers, restarting PC, etc. Problem still persists. I can run other Renpy games just fine, so as far as I'm aware I'm only experiencing this problem with Eternum specifically. Running Windows 11 OS on a low end AMD system. Any help would be appreciated, since I'd love to try this game out and see why it's rated so highly.

Check log.txt file in Eternum folder. You'll know what exactly causing that issue.
Fun fact on my 1st run, i had done it without walkthrough or rollback and like i was totally immerged in the story, didnt think to check the girl's status, so arrived chapter5 i discovered i had just Penelope, Nova and Alex still on going all the others was greyed out.
So even with more than 50% of the h-scenes missing i will still rated a 5 stars easily.
This game is that good and for that i wish you best of luck Takupeted in your pb you'll see why its so highly rated.

When you feel you're in the main menu,press shift + g and try switching to another renderer.If settings window doesn't show up,hold shift while you see loading box
Try changing your desktop resolution , sometimes using emulators on older games this will happen and its easily fixed because of a resolution conflict being either too high or too low , especially when in windowed mode .

Then you realize that the scenes are bad, came at the cost of other Li's with spectacular scenes for no reason whatsoever, and left you mad. Extract the file in the attachments and put "gl2-fix.rpy" file inside "game" folder in the Eternum exe location. Now try running the game.
if it still gives a black screen, press shift key and G while in the game and select "Force ANGLE Renderer".
Now press exit and run the game again it should be working.
Main menu buttons will be a little glitchy other than that the game works perfectly fine.
