I didn't say fantasy means plot-hole or anything like that. I just questioned if he the VN rushed the story and left plot-holes. Because they didn't explain how inventory system works too. Where do people leave their items or how they come upon them. Who makes players wear default clothes? You'll probably be disappointed then because it is very much looking like it'll contain mystical, fantasy stuff. And it being fantasy doesn't make it a "plot hole". We know magic is real since Once in a Lifetime takes place in the same universe and that had all the shenanigans with Astaroth and shit. Calypso is literally and elf that uses Magic. Nothing sci-fi about her. The "game" only pretends to be so. We know by now that it is an alternate world/realm/whatever, tied to Earth and safely accessed by normal people, somehow, through the implants. The Praetorians are different, able to bypass that safety and kill people IRL IN the game too. It's not really a plot-hole at all. All of it is explained. I'm too lazy to look for the scenes and dialogue right no but explanations are given, somewhat, on what is going on. Not all of it. We still don't have all pieces of the puzzle but Bardot has no real reason to lie to us at that point either. Not about that topic at least. Bamboozling us into thinking "oooh~ it's not a game, it's ghosts and souls" really doesn't push any agenda in his favor since we were probably already working against the Founder anyway.
If you are not on Luna path she will wear cloves here.Has anyone done a Solo Luna ? Do the scene of the vision with Annie still happen and does her reaction to the vision change if there is this scene ?
Ok thanksIf you are not on Luna path she will wear cloves here.
If you are but not on Annie path, it seems she doesn't see anything lewd.
No. She say "I just saw a normal day" or something like that. And her reaction is pretty mild so it's probably true.Ok thanks
Does her reaction to the vision seem to be a negative vision or not ?
I mean... does it really matter? Clothes and inventory aren't that huge a deal compared to "people die in game = they die in real life" lmao. Feels like too much of a nitpick. If I had to take a guess tho? Magic. Straight up. We know it's real. The neural implant could just be actualizing it and making a pocket dimension or some shit. I never really bothered thinking too deeply on it. This is just a random theory of mine lol.I didn't say fantasy means plot-hole or anything like that. Inventory system is tied to the implant which Ulysses/The Founder controls as mentioned by William during his infodump back in 0.7, tho my crackpot theory is that a lot of the "systems" that are being used by the VRMMO (from materializing gear to the portal tech that the players use) are provided by Idriel, given that she's likely Anima (the Queen of the Elves Caly mentioned who's supposed to be a lot more powerful than her and thus could do a lot of godlike stuff).I didn't say fantasy means plot-hole or anything like that. Wouldn´t mind it.Hopefully we get anal scene this time
Understandable.
In-universe reason: Orion is a grower, not a shower.with the MC having a big dick, shouldn´t his thing be peeking out of that tiny swim speedo?
It's not explained because we still don't know how Founder managed to do it. The inventory is under Ulysses control and tied to the users of the implant which is why Orion could only access the gems of doom and no clothes or other stuff when he used fast travel method. Also Dione and other weapons of Atlas are also above the control of Ulysses and are real because Idriel was involved in their making and exists outside of Ulysses inventoryI didn't say fantasy means plot-hole or anything like that. He's just like me frfr![]()
Making him have a roidhead body is modern influence, Orion was never depicted as being particularly strong or muscular, like others like Herakles actually were, because you needed a lot of stamina to hunt in the age of bows and spears, a bulky body is a hindrance in that setting, it only works in Hollywood movies.
And those like Herakles were depicted only with what's naturally achievable, they couldn't know of steroids results, which is what the Eternum MC has. This was a peak strong body in Hellenic/Roman times, as an adult (not as a teenager like the Eternum MC is):

If Caribdis is so into Hellenic mythology, he could have him have this body instead and it would be more in line with that age. But his body is what's only possible with modern steroids, it's a modern depiction of what's considered a peak strong body now but not even with suicidal doses of modern steroids can you have a body like that below 20.
Bout theAgain, Orion growing in the "roided" form that he has is a reference to his description in the myths as a "giant." While I'm not contesting that Orion's appearances in Greek statues are more athletic, usually when something is being described as a "giant" the modern go-to is usually people with big roided physiques (which makes his appearance as such in Fate and in God of War not all that surprising).
"Well can't Cari just make him taller, then?" Well, he could, but then you run into the issue of the model looking stretched out coz HS2 limitations and sex scenes being wonky as fuck when a small-ass LI meets uber tall jackass. Thus, having Orion bulk up evokes the "giant" imagery of his mythological counterpart without the extra baggage of having to work with a literal giant in scenes.
Of course you can depict Jesus Christ or Siddhartha Gautama with roided bodies (it has been done already), but it's not what they were ever characterised as, in any form whatsoever were they depicted as having strong bodies.
IIRC there are realistic texture mods that give the illusion of muscle tone even on shrimp MCs but Cari hates those kind of mods coz it tanks HS2's framerate (coz HS2 be like that) and he's already working under near single digit fps conditions, so...Bout thehemorrhoid"steroid" debate, do we know how much the available options for muscles are limited by HS2 or available workable mods too? I personally think his muscles right now are a bit over the top, but I do appreciate it a lot he looks way hotter than the average HS2 shrimp MC, and imo that matters more. I don't think his early version was ideal.
I agree his muscles are a bit over the top but also way better than the usual noodle body found in HS(2). I guess this is not the right engine to get finer control over body morphs. I still think he's nice to look at even if overly muscular, the sweeter face kinda makes up for it somehow.Bout thehemorrhoid"steroid" debate, do we know how much the available options for muscles are limited by HS2 or available workable mods too? Gonna be a real bomb drop tho when it's revealed in 0.11 he started getting spiked with roids when he put his tampered implant in.

I really must be the only person who doesn't think Orion is too muscly. Probably because I've always been a fairly large person, and I've been weightlifting for 28 years now, so Orion doesn't look "roided" as many are stating. The supernatural effects in the game are quite obvious, so I have no qualms that clearly Orion is experiencing years of muscle growth in the span of months. It works narratively, and I simply view it as a Macguffin; something that needs no explanation as it fits the plot.I agree his muscles are a bit over the top but also way better than the usual noodle body found in HS(2). Nah, he also looks fine to me. There's a certain level of physical progression that needs to be shown in game and I agree with you, it works narratively. It won't stop dissenting opinions from griping.I really must be the only person who doesn't think Orion is too muscly.
