And there are a lot of books you can read if you want an interesting story. People want what they want and thats ok. I like the pacing of the game so far including the sexual content (besides I think the sex scenes will increase in the later updates if this follows the pattern of once in a lifetime) but I think its ok to criticize certain aspects of the game if you dont like it - it is a discussion forum after all. Even though this is one of my favorite games I kind of dislike how people name call etc (not saying you did it) if someone else complains in this thread or other threads in a civil manner - I think tastes are different and we should be a bit more open to opinions different from our own.

I mean sure to a degree, but you cannot go to a Lord of the Rings fan site and start complaining that it has too much fantasy and not enough cyberpunk and expect your opinion to be taken seriously.

That was around a week ago. Update progress is now at 44% as of 2 days ago...
If Caribdis keeps up the pace we might see 0.4 in this site by 2nd or 3rd week of August (assuming someone leaks it that early). And knowing him, he's prolly gonna start 0.5 dev by the time 0.4 Public release hits about a month later and sprint for either a Christmas or a New Year release.
Yeap, madman's that fast (and consistent).

The public release just less than 2 months ago and now its already at 44%, Caribdis is one of the fastest working developer on this platform and his content also not your typical 15 minutes contents, dont assuming him the same with some of those developers in your signature which took them 1 year to update.

I think caribdis is the last person you can accuse of milking given his track record with the previous game and the updates to this one. The progress has always increased by 6-8% per week. Will this change in the future? Who knows but given the rate of progress I am inclined to say he has a strong work ethic. Updates are very substantial too - just look at the changelog.
Also the next patreon stretch goal is getting extra help so consider supporting him if you want faster updates.

I disagree (in a positive way), Carib has some of the faster updates I've seen from devs in terms of higher quality games

This game is way WAY better than I thought it would be. I thought it's just going to be another HS/PH VN with cleaner "edges", but everything is so polished. There's just so many little things and attention to detail that makes it really stands out. And it has a interesting plot and great character design.
Also wanted to say that the "Mystery" part is SUPER atmospheric and spooky I didn't know you can even pull out stuff like these in Renpy.
Hope this game stay consistent to their final release because it's one of my favorite ongoing games atm.

As Cherubin25 said, go take a look at OIAL, Caribdis first game it's really worth to play.
It show how good they are as a story teller but also as a dev, they showed dedication and a strong ethic work, always delivering consistent and interesting contents in terms of story, design, characters definition and personalty, definitely one of the best devs I've seen so far.

can someone explain to me how this rating system works?
pale carnations and what a legend both have 4.9 but are below oial and BaD which have 4.8
i have also seen games with perfect 5 stars on like 2nd or 3rd page

Is just my perception, but seems like once OIALT and BaD have way more reviews, their 4.8 rating have more "weight" in their position.
