The only way I could see Chang even inadvertently messing things up for Orion and crew is if the player was a jerk to him and ruined his chances with Mikala. Then maybe he'd be sad about that and mess something up while depressed or upset at Orion. But since I've always done right by him and made sure to be a bro I'm not even sure how possible that really is.
