This update is really good, the game is so good it feels so short... but we know the incredible work that went into all the routes
Are you from the future ?This update is really good, the game is so good it feels so short... but we know the incredible work that went into all the routes![]()
It could be thought of as a business expense. If cari has an old school view of piracy, he could do it.
I, for example, went for Eternumite once and considered Demon lord for 0.8's release, but when I realised that it gets leaked here too, i never considered DL again
please tell me btc valuation at the end of 2026This update is really good, the game is so good it feels so short... but we know the incredible work that went into all the routes![]()

As mentioned, there are ways to do checks of who's leaking, both in game code and in release method. As for the remote bricking, I don't think that's a thing with Renpy - again, it's all offline, and Cari doesn't exactly control your hardware - but he would be able to figure out who's doing it and ban them from his pages. A dedicated pirate could still just make an alt and start the process all over, but it's doable.could cari release a different version for each demon lord (cuz there can't be that many) and see which one gets leaked and close it / bug it instantly?
That not what I was asking about. The other person said that there's going to be "1.0 cliffhangers", I was trying to decipher that.1.0 is by definition the full version.
However, the update following 0.9 is 0.10, which is not the same as 1.0.
0.9 is not a decimal number, and the dot (.) is not a decimal dot. You can't do normal arithmetic with it.

Its a numbers game, at the end of the day. There's crossover between pirates and paying customers, but how much? Some people in this thread are year-round patrons, and some sub to the patron when there's an update or have given money through sites like Itch. I'm sure there are plenty who would give money if they had no other way to get the game quickly - though obviously there's also the option of being patient, since it's free - but how many are they, and how high would they go? And how many people in the thread would never give a single cent to a dev, even if they had all the money in the world, because they feel entitled to get things they like for free as a reward for liking them?AVNs get huge popularity boost from F95 tho tbh. Im sure their discord communitites and patreon etc subs increase even if it gets leaked here - so there are plenty of positives. People sub on patreon or buy the game mainly to support creator

And yes, the guy who mentioned 1.0 cliffhanger is wrong. 0.10 is what comes after 0.9 since 1.0 is the final version of the game (and likely what Cari will call the public version of 0.13).
