I'm not exactly sure about the specific value, but sometimes one choice can instantly block a girl's path. If you've already finished the game and some gallery images are still greyed out, you’d better start over with a walkthrough

They shouldn't be greyed out, I think. The hearts don't seem to matter as far as I know. Just keep on each girls route (which generally means you get most of their hearts anyway) and it should be enough. Not sure if there might be a "good end" and a "better end" at some point that needs a certain minimum number of hearts or if there will be scenes or additions to scenes that require a certain minimum. As far as I know, we haven't seen anything like that yet.

(Or I always got all the hearts and have never seen any options greyed out )

Eternum has the best of both worlds. Not a blueball experience (I know a lot of us got a bit annoyed by Nancy's first scene being interrupted, but the one that came later was totally worth the wait) and not a fuckfest without any story and character development. It's thanks to the plot and how Orion's relationships with the women blossom that the lewd scenes are as amazing as they are.
