yeah can't move on from how dumb that whole set of decisions was. MC knows he is her only way out of the game and he lets her go her separate ways to be sold as a f-ing slave... there was real reason for them to not try getting in from the market together. Samir even needed his lieutenant for the diversion, and that guy never came. so having Dalia there would have been helpful for the diversion. Samir + Jerry for the diversion, MC + Dalia for infiltration. so if they get caught, MC can just jump back to Earth with her without delay. it reduces the chance for information as Dalia would not get alone with the Sultran. but honestly, what actual bad guy would reveal his current scheme to a random girl that he happens to try to rape ?

ok in cari's defense, the way eternum works you need to go to exit portal in order to exit so its not like the fact dalia cant exit without orion by her side would change much. or rather what i am trying to say is that the fact she is there in real body and not in her game character would not matter much in that decision making. She would not be able to exit via exit portal just as much as she was not able to exit because she is there with real body. I do agree that your idea is much better than plan we got although samir only learns about lieutenant not coming after dalia is already gone

yeah, she is portrayed as the model mother for sure.
but the fact she doesn't appear in the dream at all is weird. even Penny tried to call and has her interview.
while Nancy and Nova get to have MC in their nightmare in some form or another.
Though Annie doesn't appear in a bad way in MC's nightmare. MC would obviously have some fears about her, so there is no real consistency.
maybe just the fact that he lost complete contact with them is part of his fears?

well thats the thing, no? his biggest fear is that Nancy abandons them. How else are you going to show the fear of abandonment while simultaneously have nancy show up in the dream. I mean i understand that she can be in the dream and they can have argument over why she left etc. but eerie lack of presense showcase the fear of abandonment much more than any dialogue would in my opinion. "show, dont tell". i think showing your biggest fear of losing someone by literally losing said someone and have no clue where they are is great storytelling

but as long as she is close to MC they can leave anytime. that's the point. they don't need any exit portal as long as MC is there. that's a huge advantage for infiltration missions.
though now, we could ask if it would work if MC enters the game using the implant ? would he be able to teleport ?

they could just mention that even MC doesn't get new from MC at all, just like Penny worried about not getting news from her. Penny calling MC to get in touch with her mom means there is still a chance MC is in contact.

actually, she doesn't look into MC's mind there. she chose to trust him instead. that was a big moment for them.

hmm i read it as her reading the mind first time and letting him go. then when he asked second time she decides to trust him. i could be wrong and maybe she did not read the mind first time either but i know there is two instances Orion asks for mind reading to gain trust and i personally felt like first time she did it.

Actually, she married the boss of the company where MC works. so it's implied she got a higher position with nepotism, which she should have despised a whole lot if she was the real Alex.

Yeah did not think of the nepotism angle but i definitely like your POV, it makes for better narrative.

the stanley parable part happens before the threesome. they fall asleep on the beach.
you can say that the nightmares actually contributes to the threesome happening as they both get confirmation about what MC is to them and how they feel, as well as how they feel about the other girls.

I think we see nancy hold a spear as we look at them so unless she already pulled out next one (which is fairly easy and plausible) i'd think holding a spear would indicate not taking a shot. But i think you are right because narratively now that i think about it would make no sense for Nova to randomly picks a harpoon gun form and then switch to handgun and yes i do remember the handgun thing now that you reminded me

i forgot a lot as i was trying to keep it short but i kept adding stuff as i have hard time choosing what is not important. i did state that orion goes and confess love to everyone (or i hope i did) while typing about the threesome and nancy stuff so confessing to alex, annie and dalia should have been implied but yes admitedly i forgot to mention it and i also completely forgot about pregnancy scare to be honest. And to be fair if there is any girl at this point of time aka 0.8 it would be Alex because that night they shared was crazy

ok correct he did boast to others but he does have inner monologue about how it isnt as simple as it looks. The damage he took is not trivial and he was surpised with how quickly jackal reacted and manage to counter attack him. (remember, Orion is quick enough to block thanatos yet jackal landed the hit on him). the rest i think is semantics, i either mostly agree with things you pointed out or changes you made are trivial enough that i dont think needs to be addressed.

i dont think calypso is bottom shelf, she is really good stuff but not the top shelf kind. Obviously we are talking in metaphor but what we really are talking here is whether Calypso is main girl, will be part of harem, will get her own picture next to other 7 with her own bio and option to see if you are still on her path like its the case with other 7 aka actually main girls.
to go back to metaphor i would not say Calypso is bottom shelf or cheap stuff, id say she is the secret menu item. Its special stuff that only special guests can order but in reality she is not even on the menu.

yeah those bugs happen sometimes. in 0.7 i had nova mention maat during her scene and how she wish it was her that orion pins to the floor yet i never fuck maat (only time i do is on the playthrough where i make orion fucks everything, if i am doing solo playthroughts or experiment with just few main girls i never bother interacting with "others") at least when they do happen it only affect one or two lines of dialogue and not completely change the scene so its just as you said, not game breaking but does break immersion

MC tells her to read his thoughts. she thinks about it and the situation, and then she decides not to. He offers again after she steps back, and she replies she doesn't need to as she trusts him.

Nancy holds 2 or 3 spears when the camera shifts to her. and it makes it obvious it's her because we see the kill and then the very next image is Nancy holding spears

it would be Alex because that night they shared was crazy

that scene is still a candidate for best sex scene in the game. it was the first where the new level of animation was evident

they don't need to reveal anything. they can just insist the team stay together, as it's a basic strategy. and splitting with strangers that you can't completely trust is very risky.

Dalia and Jerry knows why we partner with the Ishari and Samir, and Jerry mentions it in the market. it's just MC that is oblivious to it all the player can make an educated guess early on.
