it was not because of a holiday, but it was during the school break of that holiday, as they got a week or two off school. He was surprised Annie didn't go back home with him to visit her parents. probably a money issue. I found it weird because she seems to have significant amounts of money in eternals, and she is closer to her family than MC is to his father, and MC has less disposable income than her. there was less motivation for MC to go back than her. Even Chang didn't go back. like why did MC want to go back at all ?

The flight was already paid for months in advance.



And by "folks" I didn't just mean his father.



Grandparents prolly moved to the UK with Orion and his Da so that they could stay close...or his mum's from the UK but he still kept in touch with her parents after she left.

Regarding Chang...well, we've seen his flashback. Prolly wasn't keen on going back for a while since he has more freedom in Kredon. Plus he has a woman to rizz and he seems VERY determined to get her.

As for Annie...well, she's prolly either saving her cash as you say or maybe she's like Chang and wanted to spend time doing her own thing now that she's away from home. Regardless, we'll probably never know.

but you're right, MC is kinda dumb like that throughout the game with his decision making. and it's even worse than I remember. I thought it was his dad that paid for it. MC having to pay himself is pretty telling to how his dad really valued their relationship.

I think Chang would have kept MC company if needed, as a true bro, knowing how shitty MC's dad is. but that plane ticket cost might be steep.
I think is also a bit insecure about her grades and might have wanted to focus on her studies to catch up a bit, too. but yeah, we'll never know. though, it was the start of her romance with MC. that's why she might have wanted to spend time with him alone when in the UK. it was a good opportunity to get him for herself without the other girls. she missed out

yeah, the result of that choice that happens later seems bad. but it doesn't matter to what you said as the reason at first. just the fact that the choice is recommended in the walkthrough. not the outcome we get later down the line.
and even that scene, honestly. we don't know anything about what it actually means. it's a bad foreshadowing for sure, especially when we know that the founder can control the soul of the dead and thus it might be him intercepting MC's soul just as he was dying because we now know for sure it was MC's real body. but it might just be intentionally misleading and deceitful.

we unlock new power, we get another gem of doom, we start working on a harem, we have a dream sequence where we learn what orion's biggest fears are, we get new event in eternum, annie gets a cool moment and no i am not talking about her sex scene, i am talking about her villain speech and nuking the whole server. the whole plot with dr mencer and jackals and spawn killing xenomorphs and ofc the hyril'al revelation. oh and we also saw how does orion fare against thanatos in his current state and how far we progressed since the time he just released calypso.

Just saying "we start working on a Harem" is kind of an understatement. As far as more story goes, the time spent with each girl helps build / move the romance along. It shows Orion building that loving relationship. I hope the next update is done in the same fashion and Luna, Penny and Alex get longer solo time as well. I don't really consider the Alex segment in the same class as Nova (along with Nancy) Annie and Dalia's scenes/story time. Alex's seemed short in comparison even if she comes to the realization that like the other girls she is in love with Orion. To me, this was the most impactful part of the update.

I mean, I personally, won't complain if Nova stars in A SHIT TON of scene's again... however, ALL the girls need to build on their relationship, and it seems considering the end of the update a certain Elf will get some of that time as well.

If we're going by 0.8 progression then it's possible that Orion was still in "not that serious playboy" mode with the girls so he could stand leaving them behind at the time. I doubt he'd think the same now, though.

Compare that to Chang who seems pretty devoted to Micky and it's easy to see why he wouldn't choose to go home. Prolly thinks that Orion has way more natural rizz than he does so he needs to put in the extra effort.

Tbh the Raul and Noah story makes no sense to me. So those two are the heads of a mafia family, and they run all the illegal activities on the west coast. Yet they act like errand boys and help Orion time to time for just a couple of bucks?!
