Because she was previously considered a SI (Side Interest), just like Eva and Maat.
Yay 0.8 is finished...now we just have to wait for another year for 0.9 update to come outs.

Probably the best game of this type I've ever played. Models are all gorgeous, the humour is on point and not cringe like some other games, I just love everything about it.
I've got two questions:
- how do I update? Do I just download latest version and I can continue my save?

Does it matter which grimoire you give penny?
Yes just download and continue from old save. You can check out Once in a lifetime by the same dev.
So far it only changes the dialog in a future scene, but Penny mentions healing magic at some point earlier and it's the recommended option according to the walkthrough.

Pain, pure fucking pain.... I finished this game... I despise all those who warned me, because the dread is setting in... I have reached the peak, I.... I.... Skipped passed the sex scenes, honest to god.... They were sss-tier, but... the story, the game play, the humour, shit had me enamoured...
I'm quite literally depressed, I don't think I'll ever find another game this good.

I ignored this game for a long time, it turned out to be in vain, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST GAMES IN THE WORLD, just brilliant! 10/10!
Im starting a new playthrough on 0.85 and it looks like everything in the gallery is already unlocked, even scenes I haven't played yet.. I even got rid of my old saves (up to 0.7), but still everything. Not a complaint, but is everything unlocked by default now?
