Kiwii100 32 bit x86 only CPU were still manufactured in 2012. 32 bit arm CPU still until 2016.
do you have anything else to do than make fun of people that are poor ?
My friend if anybody on this site was not poor they would be downloading their games from itch.io, Steam, Dlsite and Patreon. We all know why we all come here.

Well that and removing all of the risk of "investing". I've been a Patron to quite a few developers that turned their games into horseshit because big spenders bought their way into the design process.

You really have some narrowminded ignorance if you think thats the only reason people are on here for.

Claiming because poor is laughable.

Can someone please explain to me why this VN is so highly rated? I've tried to play it like a dozen times now but I get turned off after a few scenes in the VR world. Is there somekind of great thing that I get to see if I slog through the VR scenes?

I think all it shows is that your taste in games must be radically different from most of us here. Which is no crime, of course.

Brother an estimated 80% of this game consists of those VR scenes. If the game's not for you then I fear it's just not for you. Not saying I'm a fan of that particular kind of thing but I'm far from finding it a turn off.

Ultimately it comes down to different strokes for different folks. Some people like a really good story, some people only want the lewds

I tend to only like realistic (as realistic as a VN can be) and grounded VNs and typically the RPG/VR thing would turn me off this game, but I tried it and stuck with it. The writing is great, there's a whole cast of really likeable characters who have good growth, the VR stuff is actually interesting once you buy into it, and the game nails when to have the down moments, and when to have the light hearted comedy moments. It's just really well wrote

Guess I'll give it a shot again. There were VNs that took me several tries to get into and they are some of my favs now.

The introduction to the VR game is a bit too long, but the pacing gets much better. However, if you really don't care for the whole metaverse aspect of the story, then the game is not for you. It's like asking you to appreciate Back to the Future if you don't enjoy time travel.

If you've never played a Caribdis game his previous one Once in a Lifetime is a good starting point to take a look at his writing style and game pacing, without the VR stuff. If you have played that already I can't imagine why you would ask the initial question.
