Wtf, I do the SAME haha. It first started when a game asked for a name and I pressed Enter which used "Anon" so ever since it is my go-to when the game doesn't have a default.

Ok, it might just be me but i wanted to confirm this which I am not complaining or anything because 0.8 was one of the best so I might be just comparing way to much from previous ones
But I wanted to ask this.... Is it just me or are the sex scenes way much tame and normal in this update, like I always look forward to the sex scenes in this game because of the expressions of the girls, the male domination and the character break/change during sex that happens to the girls which really happens if you are horny or not in normal state of mind but this time it was just dialogues and straightforward fuck with little more energy
Which it might just be me but it felt very tame to me
So, i wanted to confirm was it just because there were 4 sex scenes so, they tamed and simplified it or did someone complain about the extremes and cari decided to make normal scenes now?

I mean, Orion does, very rarely, say some cringe shit... But yelling, screaming, crying baby drama queen? Of all the AVNs around, they choose Orion to level this accusation at? That's just bizarre when in a field of that exact type of main character, Eternum's MC is probably the absolute least guilty of it.

0.8 Had everything i wanted and even something more i wouldn't never expected..
It hit me like a truck, im still recovering..

Imho best update since 0.5/0.6, yeah Alex is that variable i see i see

There is so much to talk about, and since it is(at least for me) still the 31th of December... i'll keep it short, we will have time to discuss it soon but i'll give something to think about to our Dorfnutter while he drinks down a can of beer after another.

Neither. Install the new one any old place and it should find the save.

Depends on the platform, I think. If we're talking Windows here, you can just install the new version wherever. Renpy is saving each save game twice, once in the game folder where the game is installed and once in the "Documents" folder of your Windows install. So even if you would completely delete the older version, you would still have the saves (as long as you didn't also reinstall Windows or whatever).

It doesn't. Windows, Mac, and Linux all keep saves outside the install itself - the exact location varies, the fact does not.

No question, the cove and the cabin are peak. One of the reasons I’m disappointed in her new scene, doesn’t live up to the Annie and Alex scenes in 0.8, or to her previous scenes.

Personally, I have to completely divest from the characters I play, so many years ago I just started calling every character Jack Off as a title, or a force of nature.

I hated the setting of this ep, so it didn't really catch me as much as I hoped it would. I realized I prefer the out of Eternum scenes far, FAR, more than I am enjoying the in Eternum ones. Except with Calypso, I find her scenes far more interesting than anyone else's.

Then again this game doesn't hit any of my fetishes so I can't actually fap to it, I'm here purely for the story, which I suppose is a compliment in and of itself.

In the ''final'' part/segment of the 0.8, Orion talks with a ''Blind Merchant'' who is selling statues of Psyches(Idriel), later on Orion will understand that the man is yet another member of the Syndicate trying to ''help'' him..(??)
The man will talk about ''Hyril'ar'' ''The Genocide'', ''The loss of the ones you love'' and last ''The end of everything'', and once Orion will break the chain, he will remain alone..
Probably these hints are what will we experience in 0.9, 0.10, 0.11 and 0.12, knowing that 0.13 will probably be the last update to Eternum(Cari's old words, not mine)
So we may not have experienced an heart-wrenching moments with the girls discovering orion's death, but we will probably see HIS towards the ones he loves... (maybe the syndicate's letter with that greek formula will come handy in this scenario... well to much to think for now)

One of my old crackpot theories for the ending (that my brain don't want me sharing) is that the girls will sacrifice themselves in the final battle and that we will get a choice whether we will revive the girls with the gems (will lead to Idriel turning against us and causing her to scatter the gems once more, forcing Orion to delete Idriel and assume the mantle of Ulysses CEO and keep the VRMMO running to gather the gems again) or open Acheron and let the dead (including the girls) cross over into the afterlife (which will lead to the girls trying to cross over but they are stopped by their deceased loved ones showing up and telling them it's not their time to go to the other side yet, giving time for Caly to use the last of her power to send Orion and the girls home but closing Eternum to them until the day comes when their natural lives expire and they meet in the afterlife once again). So seeing those lines from the Syndicate guy kinda shook me, not gonna lie.

Still, given how the cliffhanger from the last update resolved itself, that might not end up being the case and we might end up with a happier outcome by the end of the story (though the destruction of Hyril'ar might still end up happening (my crackpot theory on this is that Thanatos will end up finding a way to Hyril'ar and start a full-on genocide in the process), if only because it could force Orion and Caly to depart that realm and back to Eternum (or the real world).

OK, I just got to playing the update and just got to that section. Yeah, the Stanley Parable section. I knew what it was as soon as I heard the narrator for the first time, and I'm hating every minute of it. Still playing through it and this is probably the first time I'm REALLY hating something in this game.

I haven't read any spoilers so I have no idea what's in store, but I just felt like sharing how I'm hating this section overall.
