I don't consider Orion a douche, but if you're talking about the first FIRST scene which is Orion saying that he's a master at getting chicks, while having a woman on each arm, then know that scene was just a joke about him faking confidence.
Game's already outlined for 4-5 more updates after 0.9 so there's no danger of rushing really. The only danger would be Cari's tendency to one-up the previous update which leads to larger update sizes (and thus more work that he has to go through). Personally after getting 2 heavy updates back to back a shorter update is pretty welcome, if only so that Cari saves the next bigger updates for when we're close to the endgame.
Question: does anybody know which was the largest update in numbers of renders so far?
You can see the number of images per update in the changelog in the OP; it looks like 0.8.0 was the largest to date (the last main update).
Holy moly, everything is around the 1000-1500 renders, this one is pratically double the size! We eating good this christmas
The 0.8 update was the bigger one with 1650 renders. The 0.9 will have 50% more renders according to Caribdis , so yeah tis update will be massive. Hours to play.

One thing that makes me curious is why there aren't populations like on Earth in the servers. The only inhabited worlds seem to be just Earth and the elven world, as narrated in Calypso's story.
Perhaps there is one on Andromeda, on the Station when we were on a date with Annie, a monster (referring to the movie The Alien), a life form was present even though it was specified that it was neither Ulysses, nor the Founder, nor a scientist who created it.
She mentions a third race - neither human nor elf...
