Hey guys i tried this AVN a year ago and i could not play it, i lasted like 5-10 minutes and i hated the MC so douchy and full of himself and dialogs were awfull, was i mistaken or does he changes o something?, im asking because i see many people saying that is good, but it's one of the novels i quitted the fastest lol.
I don't consider Orion a douche, but if you're talking about the first FIRST scene which is Orion saying that he's a master at getting chicks, while having a woman on each arm, then know that scene was just a joke about him faking confidence.

On one hand, having smaller updates means faster releases, but on another, i don't want this game to be rushed out in the story and character interactions. Just finished OIAL and my overall sentiment with that game is that i started to really enjoy it in the last patches where most of the secondary characters would get some development or more screentime but the game was already ending so yea.

Game's already outlined for 4-5 more updates after 0.9 so there's no danger of rushing really. The only danger would be Cari's tendency to one-up the previous update which leads to larger update sizes (and thus more work that he has to go through). Personally after getting 2 heavy updates back to back a shorter update is pretty welcome, if only so that Cari saves the next bigger updates for when we're close to the endgame.

Agreed, that should keep a good balance of content and delivery

Yeah, the MC was being douchy and it was kind of a joke because his friend laughed of him, i will give it another try, it was my mistake because i played long time ago. Thanks for commenting.

Man... this dev cycle seems to be especially cursed, it used to be 6% every 2 weeks, so idk but hopefully, on the 10th we may get the full 12% and go straight to 92%. everyone send Caribdis your positive vibes, looks like he really needs some.

I don't follow comments or progress updates much, but they say that 0.9 will be available in November or December.
But for who??
Only for Caribdis' patreon supporters or publicly available here on F95? Anyway, for me there's not much difference waiting until December or January... even though I can't wait for this part with the elven world!
I played it for the first time in mid 2025 and immediately got passionate about it. First HS2 game, by the way. It took me quite a while to finish it. And what an ending!
I'm happy I played for the first time with version 8.5, but then knowing about the slow updates... sadness.

One thing that makes me curious is why there aren't populations like on Earth in the servers. The only inhabited worlds seem to be just Earth and the elven world, as narrated in Calypso's story.
Perhaps there is one on Andromeda, on the Station when we were on a date with Annie, a monster (referring to the movie The Alien), a life form was present even though it was specified that it was neither Ulysses, nor the Founder, nor a scientist who created it.

It's true. Then there are also the skeletons. But maybe they're NPCs that have changed? I don't know. The theory of the astral plane makes sense, but then I think about Orion's ability. If the plane is astral, how can he enter it with his real body?
But even here, a thousand possibilities come into play. The only difference I notice, and it's the most relevant in my opinion, is the lack of populations between the servers and Earth and the elven world, which in the past was populated by both humans and elves.
But after listening to the conversations between Orion and Calypso, it seems that there are no more humans in her world, since the young elf ends up mistaking him for a monkey? (I don't remember well.)
It can be deduced that either the two peoples no longer have contact, or the humans for some reason are no longer in her world. (Maybe they went to Earth, which as you said could be another server?) Here your theory could find confirmation.
