Cari´s next game being inspired by The Witcher story, with girls that look like the ones in the game, that would be so cool to see.
Personally I hope the next game is gonna be a bit smaller in terms of scope compared to Eternum (that is, lesser LI count and a more "isolated incident" kind of affair similar to Once in a Lifetime), not only to help with Cari's sanity but also to fix the issue of having to rotate LIs per patch because there's a lot of them. Less quantity, more quality, that kind of shit.

...and distinctly different--from each other, and from his LIs in previous games.
Hope so. I´ll miss these ones, though.

I agree. I wonder if he´s going to do another Harem, but this time I hope it´s 3 or 4 main LI´s, that way we don´t have to wait so long for an update to feature them.

... and don't have any blood relationship with each other. :HideThePain:
That´s important too, so that we can have all the combinations possible for threesomes.

As will I. Maybe they'll make a cameo appearance.
If Cari goes along with the idea that the next game is set in a different universe separate from the OIAL-Eternum continuity, probably not.

On one hand, I hope he reconsiders (as having cameos of the Eternum cast would be a lot easier to do since the next game will still be using HS2). On the other hand, it makes me wonder if some of the theories are true that the next game might not be set in the present (so could be fantasy or pure sci-fi/cyberpunk) or have a different lore system that contradicts the established lore of the current continuity.

Why not? They make cameos in completely different games. Stabby Mike shows up in Ripples. Annie makes an appearance in Between Humanity. Luna can be an "Easter egg" in the background somewhere (even though she deserves a lot more love than that). Or, if Luna wouldn't stand out quite enough, Nova.

Sure, to have a speaking part would throw things off quite a bit. But just to show up somewhere could work.

I mean, easter eggs/cameos in different games is one thing. But if an author puts a cameo of his own work in another one of his games then that could be misconstrued by some as confirmation that the games share the same continuity unless the author puts his foot down and says they aren't.

Also, if I'm gonna be completely honest I prefer that the author just makes a clean break with the old continuity if he plans to really set the game in a different setting. Having cameos of characters from past work just defeats the purpose of that, even if they show up being different from their established personalities (i.e. Alex having a cameo as a celebrity, Penny being a politician, Orion being a conspiracy theory podcaster, etc).
