I downloaded the game a few days ago and didn't see any viruses. It's probably a false positive. But if you want to wait for the release, you'll have to wait at least two years.

Aside from "yeah, I planned 9, but changed it later" everything else is your speculation. Unless I'm very mistaken Calypso in earlier versions didn't even have any variables for relationship level tracking, her interest was introduced later, after the cult of Calybros was established. If she was planned as secret main LI from the start, it'd be there in at least some form. Instead her "interest" got introduced later. So unless Caribdis comes out and says "Yeah, I planned that from the get go and was hiding from codemonkeys", I'll stick to my version tyvm.

You are mistaken. She had variables for relationship level tracking from 0.4. You can use unren (https://f95zone.to/threads/unren-ba...compiler-console-developer-menu-enabler.3083/) to extract the renpy files and look at the code yourself. The normal points are `girl_points` so for example `nova_points` but for Calypso it is slightly different - search for `calypso_interest`

I have said this before but I think the historical versions of eternum shows what the developer was thinking.

- In version 0.2 when the main LI page was introduced, there was no side girl slot. Instead there were 8 slots with the 8th LI representing Calypso (I know it was calypso because I was in the discord during that time and the dev said he would be introducing 2 LIs in 0.2 in one of the supporter channels - one was nova and the last one was Calypso). Not sure if that version is still available on patreon because of the music fiasco but it might be available somewhere in this forum.
- In 0.3 Caribdis decided to replace Calypso's slot in the LI menu with the side girl slot.
- Like I mentioned above, in 0.4 the calypso_interest variable was introduced in the codebase - look at the 0.4 version of the script and search for calypso_interest.
- In 0.4/0.5/0.6/0.7 this calypso_interest variable keeps getting incremented based on the choices you make involving calypso. It is a hidden variable however so no heartbeat when you gain points. It is just silently updated. There is also a `calypso_path` variable in these versions. Which is again hidden from players unless you look directly at the code.
- In 0.8, calypso_interest is converted into calypso_points at the start of the update. And after the kiss, the new UI screen kicks in and she is revealed to be a main girl.

Because of all of this it would be extremely odd if she was not supposed to be a main LI. Why would you go through so much trouble and start tracking her points all the way back since 0.4 that was several years ago?

Open the console using Shift + O (use this tool to enable console: https://f95zone.to/threads/unren-ba...compiler-console-developer-menu-enabler.3083/)

Then set: `hittargetbow = True` after you have made the shot before the chamberlain speaks to you.

But you can use URM to increase Calypso points before You get to the portal.

I agree. Hana is top level character, but Eternum has 3 or 4 girls at the same level, so I think it wins.

on hindsight, I gotta give Eternum the win. The lack of small boob representation in Pale Carnations makes Eternum the clear winner with Nova.
