Not in the slightest. There will be no Crossroads Episode in this game. Romance as many as appeal to you. You can also shag as many of the side girls as you can catch.

They stopped working immediately and referred you to a customer service number, which was all dashes. I doubt they will be of any use whatsoever.

If clicking on the screen or holding down control doesn't get you past the black screen, then in all likelihood "yes" ... try a clean install.

Not sure what you mean by install. I just downloaded it and there are no errors in the log or during the extraction.
So many praises on the story of this game, I think it's about time I play Eternum. Still playing another game right now but I started to think it's a mistake putting off Eternum in my backlog for this long because I've read more and more from people how good the story is and I feel like I should have play it sooner.

You really should start it sooner rather than later, because there's already tons of content and every update adds lots more. It'd be a huge shame to miss out on it because you left it so long that it becomes intimidating

Take the usual steps. Reboot. Update video driver, etc. More than likely the video driver, but who knows.
If you're running a potato PC, you may be out of luck. My laptop barely runs these games. Luckily, my desktop is better.

It's not a potato as far as renpy is concerned and my drivers were a clean install just yesterday after a reinstall of windows. I don't have a problem with anything else, just this game is stuck. The GPU I'm using now is dated but way more than enough for these things.

Then yea, I would try redownloading the game. Try a different site, in case one is corrupted. Delete the old folder before extracting again.

By "clean install" I just meant unpack a download wherever you get it from into a new folder and run it without adding anything and see if it works.

So, that was fantastic. Are there any other games with this overall level of quality? I mean in terms of writing, visuals and presentation.
I loaded this up for a quick nut, but ended up holding my attention more than God of War: Ragnarok (and that's a good ass game).

No jokes, its one of best AVNs here, but Ragnarok is on another level is not comparable.
