Sure, but it was clearly not a game for everybody and not really not exactly a massive AAA hit. Also it is now ~12 years old (if you count the standalone version), so people that are not 20, were around 8 when it was released.

And this is why I believe Orion won’t end up sleeping with any maid in Hyril’ar. Even if none of the girls are there to know what he’s doing—except maybe Calypso—he himself would feel guilty. I mean, he told that vendor/therapist in the Valley of Kings realm that he wants his relationship with the girls to work. So going off and hooking up with a random maid in a distant realm while all his girls are freaking out with worry over whether he’s even alive seems completely counterintuitive.
No, in 9.0 we are shooting past the damn maids and making it straight to their Princess!

Well, when the elves are ready to kill Orion (or any human) who even looks wrong at the princess, people are thinking that it may still be a while before Caly and him can do anything so they are wishing that we can still get some elf action with a maid or something. Maybe even with the princess watching and egging it on, could be fun.

Them being hostile means it'll just add to their thrill. Pretty sure there was a line before where Calypso was interested in the human-elf forbidden romance like her ancestor

let me try and give elf gooners something to theorize about
do you guys think first time with calypso gonna be in real world? like orion use his powers to take calypso in his world where there is no elves and no rules and nothing (potentially she does not even have her powers as elven magic wouldnt work in human world) and that is where they do it for the first time safe from forbidden bs

Two actually, the first one in the Ogygya server where Orion, Alex and Nova rescue Cali, she talk about it with Alex because looking at Alex hairs, she thought she was the daughter of an elf and human.Them being hostile means it'll just add to their thrill. The second one when Orion, Alex and the princess go the Boyle mansion searching for infos, her and Orion have a second talk about it.
One that I noticed was the Maat encounter. When accused of stealing 250 eternals the MC would claim innocence before the patch, now it gives the correct dialog depending on whether you took the money or not.
